What a wonderful stay we had! This was our first time at Hanoi and staying here with Le Chanvre Hanoi Hotel & Spa was the right choice! The staff esp Carter and Mia and the other front desk staff were the best! They helped us book our tours to Halong Bay which was so much fun! They also helped with our transportation and gave us great recommendations on where to eat! The breakfast was also delicious and this place is so convenient! Thank You for making our stay wonderful!

La Chanvre Hanoi Hotel and Spa is a comfortable hotel in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. The reception staff were fantastic and so welcoming on arrival and helpful throughout our stay, As well, housekeeping staff were attentive and excellent. Breakfast provided the full range of options. Mia and Thanh were great. Always helpful and knowledgable. The Hotel is immaculate, beautiful and the staff quick to help or take care of any requests. The food delicious with an ample free breakfast. The area is in the French quarter, so there are tons of shops, and the lake area beautiful and a short walk. Lots of street venders and on the weekends they shut down the adjacent roads and fill the streets with vendors. The only issue I had is that the bath tub's design causes it to leak water on the floor if you take a shower. This is easily remedied with 2 strategically placed towels. The A/C is awesome and if you're not used to the heat you'll appreciate it. I have stayed here twice on my recent trip and I'd stay a third time. I highly recommend it.

Our stay at Le Chanvre Was very lovely. The location is very convenient. The distance to all the major seethings are 10-15 minutes walking. We were welcome by Mia and makes us felt at home. She is amazing helping us in our of our needs. All the staff from the front desk, maids, bartenders, doorman, etc are very polite and friendly. We are staying again next Saturday before we leave Hanoi.

Staff were super friendly, my room was nice, hotel is in great location. Rooftop pool is small, but fine. Only 2 sun deck chairs, but a bigger area for the rooftop bar. I only marked them down on their use of small plastic bottles for shampoo / conditioner etc. I would stay again.

Help you with any questions or tip in Hanoi. Open the door for you when you come in or leave. Press the elevator buttons for you. Room clean can be requested every day. They clean top to bottom (including vacuum and change the bed sheets) Employees never get in the elevator with you, they all wait for the next one (even the elevator is empty and you ask them to come in no problem) The hotel General manager welcomes you with a welcome note with his/her contact on it shows how much he or she cares Room: Room felt luxurious with fine luxury furnitures. Huge king bed with tall headboard. Property location is great. Friendly staff that can’t do enough for you. Comfortable bed and clean rooms . The only downside is that there is no Shaving mirror in the bathroom and more lighting as quite dark. Hooks to hang towels and clothes would be handy .

A nice place, great but expensive restaurant, very helpful staff. The shower was odd and wet the floor as much as the shower and I was disappointed in the use of plastic water bottles rather than reusable glass and small shampoo containers rather than reusable. Way too much plastic to not strong environmental practices, but a very nice hotel overall.
