"To call this a 5 star Shangri-La is a not accurate. After checking in to our paid upgraded room we noticed the AC wasnt working in the bedroom (had a big room with seperate living room). the engineers arrived and quickly fixed so that air was coming out, however we notice that it was not cool air but just natural air as they call it. keep in mind this is in end of May where temperatures are between 22-28 degrees outdoors with the sun constantly on the rooms. "Claimed as non-smoking. Was maybe renovated not too long ago but you can still smell the smoke. Found a cigarette in the sink too. Mold in the shower cabin. Hair on the floor. Wallpaper is already coming off the wall and some shreds are missing. Air conditioning is noisy. A room switch made it only a bit better but added a mirror that turns on and flashes again and again on its own."
