"I have stayed here a few times and always found the property excellent. I have in the past been careful to park outside the property making sure not to use the high street which is not open to cars from 12am-6pm. I was surprised to find a parking ticket on my car this time. Not the property’s fault but nonetheless something to be aware of."

"Cottage has fantastic views from both sides. Cottage smelt amazing, everything was fresh and clean. All usual equipment available for us and thoughtful provision of domestic consumables which we didn’t bring due to the short duration of stay. We would have appreciated a brief local guide to steer us to places to eat and shop but as WiFi was available we searched for ourselves."

"We enjoyed the cottage espically thr cosy log burner , the garden is not good if you struggle with walking up very steep steps , there was a very weird smell in the bathroom , cottage very rural , but we enjoyed walks , the main bedroom bed is very squeaky bit uncomfortable , but we did enjoy our stay away "

"Contacted property manager and Vrbo the day before to enquire about accessing the property. Received no response. Called the owner at 9.15 on the day. He sounded confused but raised no issue, so I got on with my day. Received a text after 10.30 to say the property was not available! Apparently vrbo had not coordinated the availability. Host offered to book us into a local hotel…. Not ideal as we could have done that ourselves (and chosen a better hotel) but we had plans with friends and dinner...
