"Apartment was large, comfortable and clean. It had all the utensils and items needed to feel right at home. The surrounding area was also clean and safe… check in was a breeze and so was checkout including checkout instructions. Would definitely stay there again."

"This cottage was in a charming location with a creek out back, lovely grounds, and total privacy. We stayed in the late fall; it must be even better in the spring or summer. It is the best-equipped -i.e., amenities - of any place we’ve ever stayed. Comfortably furnished. Nice appliances. Would happily return. "

"Nine of us, ages 15 to 63, stayed 3 nights during our annual ski weekend. We make a trip to Massanutten annually and chose this home in 2025 due to the space and game room. The house is stocked from the kitchen to the game cabinet. The location is only a couple miles further from the slopes than we usually choose and that wasn't a problem for us."

It was just far enough away from the bustle of the city but close enough that driving out to the heart of Charlottesville was only 20 mins away. "Loved our stay before Christmas. Check in was a breeze, house was beautiful and comfy. I loved being able to grill and that I could do laundry before returning home."

"Lots of room to spread out and relax when not out and about at the resort. The proximity to waterpark and skiing was very close and convenient. Kitchen was excellent for preparing all of our meals. Basement/game room was fun! Driveway was a little tight for two vehicles, but it worked just fine for us. "

"A beautiful historic property and working farm, it was the perfect getaway for some lifelong friends looking to get away. Bill and Cynthia are wonderful hosts and the home has everything you could need. It is very large and can easily accommodate a large family or group event.We were even given samples of maple water from the frees, and farm-fresh eggs! "I stayed here for a quick overnight stop during my ski trip and it was perfect for what I needed. I arrived around 8 PM and left by checkout time. The two bedroom unit was spacious and comfortable with my room being well decorated and featuring a huge bathroom. The bed was super comfy, and the vanity was great for getting ready. The only thing I suggest is adding a mirror in the second room as my friend noticed it was a bit lacking and decoration. The shower in my room was large with two shower...

"We were visiting JMU and the hotel couldn’t have been more convenient for that. Right on campus - easy parking and easy walk to town. Beds and linens weren’t terribly comfortable and no amenities like shampoo, etc. Good value."
