"Pateley Bridge is such a lovely town. Our accommodations were perfect for our family of 5! The home was appointed with everything we needed for our stay. We had an issue with a tripped switch and power outage and the owners were very helpful and prompt is helping us address the issue, which we were so grateful for. We will recommend it to anyone traveling to the area. "

"First off, we booked for 3 people and 10 days. We were given 1 trash bag, 2 1/2 rolls of toilet paper, two dishwasher pods, and one laundry pod. Not very well serviced. It must be noted that the courtyard the flat is in, is also a beer garden for a local pub. That means drunk people yelling and laughing until the wee hours of the morning with cigarette smoke making everything smell like an ashtrray. as well as a daily 7am wake up call from dumping all yhe glass bottles into the recycling. there...

"Good location - but can hear people sitting out at rear of pub - heating not fully working and thermostat & fusebox makes a loud noise when heating turned on. No curtains only light coloured vertical blinds in main bedroom so very light in the morning as the sun comes up. Other bedroom not bad as dark coloured blinds - not as bright."

"We stayed a month this summer (2024) at Bankside Cottage to really get immersed in the Yorkshire Dales lifestyle. The cool climate was a perfect summer relief from our home in hot and humid Florida. The village of Hampsthwaite was the perfect distance outside of busy Harrogate. Very peaceful with friendly and helpful locals, a good pub, cafe and convenience store. "Great communication from Jenny who text me to let me know the property was ready for us. On arrival we found an immaculately clean and well furnished house. Jenny had also left us a welcome pack which included, tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and other treats including a bottle of Prosecco. The cottage was comfortable for 4 adults and a large dog (treats also left for her) There was plenty of information regarding the house and the town with some good recommendations.
