"We rented the 2 BR 2 Bath house for 4 Nights, along with a fishing pontoon boat at the property. We very much enjoyed our stay. The area and home site are surrounded by forest which is very peaceful. When on the lake, the air temperature is pleasantly cooler, making an 88-degree day feel like 75 degrees. Nice fire pit, we did S'mores. Interior of home is clean, liked the laminate flooring. TV and internet worked fine. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils. Grocery store 10 minutes...

"Like everyone has noted - the location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance: marina, beach area, parks, and downtown. The house is very nice and well kept up. It had everything we needed….even a choice between a Keurig or drip coffee maker. Be advised that this is an older house but it has obviously been updated. (There are ample outlets in plain view to charge all your devices.) Also it was very clean. If I get to Ludington again - I would definitely rent this house again....

"The property was spotless, which is a must for me, the front porch was the perfect place to spend a morning, or afternoon, or evening for that matter. So close to the water, it made it easy to go to watch the sunset over the lake. The owner was very easy to deal with, so much so that I would stay here again in the future. "We had a wonderful time vacationing at this cabin. The cabin is well supplied with towels and kitchen supplies! We had everything we needed to cook meals for our family! We enjoyed the large deck and hiking trails! It is also in a great location. Secluded but still a quick drive to all the activity! We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Mears!"

"Easy walk to the beach, nice fenced in yard for dogs(must be on chains because fence isnt dog proof). Be very careful where you allow yoir dogs if yoi bring them because there were old pet stains and dogs always want to pee over other dogs pee. Dont let them walk away from you. Our kids loved having the bottom floor to themselves. 40 minute drive to the hunting grounds mu husband likes."

"Steffany and Doug were fantastic host's! They were quick and helpful! The house and property were even better than described. There were 9 people and everyone was very comfortable. We played games, hot tubbing every day and enjoyed sitting by the fire pit and and truly enjoyed everything there was to do! We would absolutely recommend staying here! "This was the perfect place for spending a weekend getting together with two other families. Easy walk into town and we could watch the kids walk to the beach from the northern deck. The hosts have created an amazing getaway that is well furnished and gorgeously decorated. This is definitely a place we’re looking to return to in the future."

"The window to our room was in direct view of an outside walkway was the worst of it. The room was small and there was no luggage rack to open our suitcase on. Had to use the table (which made it difficult to keep the blinds closed from the outside walkway). Keys worked great every time, along with faucets and shower. Great location for a walk to the beach or a walk to the Lighthouse. We got to see one of the ferry boats fron Wisconsin come in."
