"We had a great time! We went packed and ready for “glamming” trip and got just that! The property is beautiful including the creek that runs on the back side. Yes, we had to put water in the toilet tank because the pipes were frozen and yes we heated water on the stove for washing dishes but this place was just perfect despite those things. Will definitely return and recommend 100% if you want a peaceful, relaxing getaway!"

"The lake, dock, view, canoe, fire part and deck were great. So was the setting. I'd highly recommend from that standpoint. The cabin is dated but overall it had a good cabin feel with a great view from the dinning room table. But the plumbing was less than desirable. Very hard to get a good temp in the shower and low pressure. The floors are very squeaky and doors were hard to close. I made the mistake of thinking the cabin was closer to Marquette so made for long drives back and forth. But...

"I booked the cottage for a family get together. It was comfortable enough for my elderly in-laws who have mobility issues and enjoyed by our college age kids as well. From any window there is a view of the lake. The deck has lots of lounging space. The hot tub was a bonus. We brought a kayak and used 2 of the 3 that were at the cottage. "Myself and three friends loved our stay at Kimar's Resort! We rented the 4 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath lodge. The lodge had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The property was fabulous and everyone we encountered was great! We loved watching the sunrise near the pavilion on Lake Superior and we walked across the road to Deer Lake to watch the sunset.
