Bright sunny comfortable house with contemporary decor

Right in the middle of the Cape - Harwich is close to everything! This comfortable artist designed 2 bdrm home will be a great place to access all the Cape has to offer. Brand new central A/C to escape on those hot humid days, or sit outside on the covered patio. Comfortable new sofa. Newly painted, and new dishes, silverware, bedding, etc. Brand new washer/dryer on the first floor. New grill with a searing feature. Very roomy well equipped kitchen with new appliances, and separate dining area. Clean as a whistle!! I do my own cleaning, so I know it's done right. The bike path is nearby, and a short scenic ride past cranberry bogs and old style cottages takes you to a quiet warm fresh water beach on Seymour's Pond. Chatham is a 10 minute drive, Hyannis 15 minutes away, and the outer beaches about a 15 - 20 minute drive. Harwich center is close by, with all the amenities it has to offer - 2 great restaurants, convenience store, package store, and gas. Grocery stores just a 10 minute drive down the road. Bike rentals also available in Harwich center.
And here is something special - have you ever wanted to paint a picture of your favorite Cape Cod spot? Well, I can help you do just that. When you reserve just message me that you'd like to try out a plein aire art day, and I'll leave all the necessary materials in the house for you. Take them to the beach, to the docks, the marsh, wherever you like. Create a special memory to take home. No extra charge. Specify watercolor; acrylic; or pastels. (No oils available, as they require turps and oil based mediums. They can be a mess.) Comfortable folding artist chair , brushes, pallette provided for your use.
In the house, all bedding, towels, beach towels & beach chairs provided. All beds are made when you arrive, and you can leave them as is when you go. Hair dryer, bottled liquid soap and shampoos also provided. Coffee, tea , and creamers/sugar. No pets - no exceptions. No smoking in or out. No use of the fireplace - sorry. Quiet neighborhood
We enjoyed our stay. Inside is well kept with new appliances. Owner provides a lot of the small things(dish soap, laundry detergent, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towel, etc..) which helps when traveling. Enjoyed walking the neighborhood in the morning for some exercise. Restaurants and shopping not too far. It was a great week.

Relaxing week
Lovely two bedroom cottage with everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable week. Convenient to several good restaurants, easy access to route 6, and quiet neighborhood. Everything we needed in terms of cooking and serving was provided. House was very clean and comfortable and has both heat and air conditioning. I highly recommend it for 2-4 people. We had a very relaxing and comfortable week there.

The house was exactly as described and was so clean! Aleta made everything easy and understandable. The house was a wonderful and relaxing home base for our time on the Cape! Quiet neighborhood and a great location to easily get to all of our favorite Cape Cod places!

A Quiet Retreat
Our stay in Harwich was for a couple days and it was a wonderful and stress free time. The hostess was one of the best, she was very friendly and informative! She provided a great amount of detail regarding the various features of the house before our arrival. Additionally, giving us detailed directions on getting there and which roads to lookout for. She could be easily reached via phone number and the Vrbo app. The home itself is quite cozy and warm. It has that Cape Cod feeling but with a hint of contemporary, with the rooms being decorated with beautiful artwork. There were little notes around the house that helped us find what we needed and how things are to be left which was very helpful. There were plenty of places to visit nearby and explore such as museums, parks and antique stores. Overall it was a great stay regardless of the rain that came our way. I would recommend this place for couples that wish to stay on the cape and explore the areas around.
