"Ron and Lacey were excellent hosts. Very helpful with recommendations on restaurants and excursions. They helped us set up an excellent trip up Monkey River. They have bikes, stand up paddle boards, etc. for guests’ use. They cabins are very clean and have everything you need. They porch on Turtle was very comfortable for mornings and evenings. We would highly recommend this place. It is close to all restaurants, shopping, and the beach. "

"What a beautiful resort. After coming from San Pedro this place was truly paradise. The staff is friendly and everyone is always willing to help. The restaurants are delicious. The concierge will book everything for you so please use them. Take some time to go to the gift shop and have some delicious pizza! The rooms are amazing just be careful with the mosquitos. "The listing for this property was incorrect. What we thought we were getting was 3 queen beds with 2 bathrooms. Instead, we got 2 adjoining units that had 1 queen bed each, a pull-out sofa, & 3 bathrooms. Each unit had its own kitchen. When we arrived, the door between our rooms was locked so we had to go out to the porch & into the other unit to be with our friends. "My girlfriend and I loved our stay there. The breakfast was always adequate and the room was amazing, extremely spacious and comfortable with cable and streaming on both big screens. The kitchen was great too with a central range. We went kayaking and biking and the staff were super accommodating. I felt safe there, just keep in mind it is in the middle of placencia so if you don’t want to immerse yourself in the culture and the people of the strip go to a remote resort. I loved this...

"STAY HERE! The best experience I’ve had at any resort ever. The staff is lovely, the food is fantastic, and the island itself is right out of your wildest dream. At night, there are noises akin to what you’d hear on a ship, or deep in the woods—which may be relaxing to some and annoying go others. Also, the hot water can be an otter finicky. But trust me, you will not care! This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I wouldn’t miss for anything! No other vacation has compared. "

"This is a very cool little cluster of cabanas and a bar/restaurant on a legit TINY island. The staff is great, the food is decent, and the snorkeling could be better, but overall it was a fun stay. We were the only ones staying on the island, which was pretty cool."
