"We only stayed a night which really wasn’t long enough. The accommodation is at the back of the pub and it is clear a lot of thought has gone into it and it has paid off. We ate there in the evening and the food was excellent as was breakfast. Service is spot on too. Great base for surrounding area, we went to Hauser and Wirth which is only 10 minutes away. "

"The is a lovely little in, ideal for a short stop-over. The staff in the pub were extremely welcoming, it has a great atmosphere, and the food was outstanding. The only down side is, the room I stayed in is next to a commercial site which has bright spotlights, this means that even with the curtains closed the room wasn't overly dark. Also the bed wasn't that comfortable, so I didn't sleep very well. Overall a pleasant stay, and possibly somewhere I would consider for a future stay."

"Great 2 nights stay at this beautiful B&B. We instantly felt relaxed and welcome around our friendly hosts and their two sweet little (quiet!) dogs. The single beds in the lovely twin room were very comfortable. "A very pleasant village pub, in an interesting and historic village. The room, on the top floor, was spacious, with a decent bathroom. What was lacking in the room was decent lighting: a single, low-powered LED filament bulb was completely inadequate if you wanted to sit and read.
