"We wanted to feel like the locals so loved staying at the Bruner's cottage. The cottage was clean and light. Best sleep I've had in a while - bed was comfortable. The Bruners made sure we had everything we needed and were very accommodating (including fresh papaya picked by their son) and loved being greeted each day by Huckelberry. If we ever come back to Hawaii and need a place to stay, we are definitely booking this cottage. "

"My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at the property! It's so peaceful and relaxing. The weather threw a wrinkle in our plans and Jennifer was so accommodating to changing the dates of our stay last minute. Excellent communication and a warm welcoming. "We enjoyed the location - walk to a beach for sunrise and kayak in the evening on the river. It was an extremely peaceful setting. The room was comfortable and it was fantastic to have a kitchen with a nice size refrigerator. There was even free laundry on premise! Complimentary beach gear and kayak equipment were available. The grounds would have benefited from more watering and love. We look forward to a return visit."

"We had a wonderful stay. Home was clean and in a great location. Many beach entry points up and down the street. So far this has been our favorite place to stay. Best part is walking down to one of the many beach entry points to watch the sun set. Lots of places to snorkel too. Loved our time on the Big Island. Lots to do just a drive away.
