I stayed for a couple of nights. The host was great and did everything he could to make sure i could get breakfast each day, before i left early for work.
Rooms are clean functional, but a touch basic. Not that that is a bad thing. My only small issue was the lack of power socket in my room.
I would happliy stay again if my work brings me back that way.
The meals were poor , I did not have a choice, macaroni with fried tomatoes for an evening meal terrible, I was told that fish was on the menu I never got fish, so the next night I went and got myself a takeaway, not happy with what I was being offered, I wound not stay here again

Very disappointing. I paid £98 for a very basic twin room for 1 night. Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy. No TV in room but was told I could watch TV downstairs if I wanted to. The shower didn't work properly - either scalding hot or dribbled out cold water. Sink took ages to drain, noisy radiator. Was only given 1 small bath towel and 1 small hand towel. Hosts very friendly and was a very quiet and peaceful area and is dog friendly but was told that cost for dogs is increasing from £5 per dog to £10 per dog which is a big jump! I had 2 small well behaved dogs with me. I spoke to another guest who said their shower didn't work either.
Sadly I felt my stay was not good value for money and won't be booking to stay there again.
EXCEPTIONAL AND SUPERB, from the wonderful welcome, to the fellowship, to the love and care - this was indeed a most marvellous visit I can truly recommend to all!
