"I enjoyed three nights at Lake House on the Bruce Peninsula. I wanted a little get away and a nostalgia trip to some favourite places in the area. Lake House fulfilled my objectives perfectly. I did a few meals on site with the well equipped kitchen and Denise supplied a welcoming vase of fresh herbs and later some peas and cucumber from her garden. I also went to a few eateries recommended in the detailed welcome book. As it is suggested that I comment on bed comfort, I will tell you I was wishing I knew where to get such a comfortable mattress. The accommodations were perfect for a short get away with lots of things to do and see in the area when I wished to do that. But some quiet time was also a joy. I would highly recommend Lake House as is a quieter choice than beach front options."

"This has to be one of the best VRBO stays Ive had in a while. Rob was very communicative, helping give us ideas for where to go and what to do in the local area. Property was very clean and 100% accurate to the listing. Location was great as it was either a short walk or quick drive to a number of great hiking trails and a public beach with lake access. Property was quiet and private, with some nice outdoor eating areas, and even a BBQ. I honestly don't think there could have been anything else done to make this the best possible experience! Next time Im in the area I would certainly book again. "

"The property was very clean and comfortable. The surrounding area was beautiful as well and we were provided with firewood for the pit! Our host was so helpful and communicative. We had a lovely stay with friends!The only issue we had was that the photos on the listing seemed to imply the property is waterfront or is accessible to a waterfront. We learned that the nearest beach access is all owned privately and we were not allowed to go down. There is another way to get to the beach publicly but it was much further away than expected. "
