"The property was quaint and as expected from other reviews and the listing details. It felt rather damp but there were electric fan heaters in each room which quickly warmed the place up. The Wi-Fi kept going off and we were unable to make the tv work but that wasn’t an issue as we were only there for two nights."

"We loved this place - right opposite the sea and with amazing view of Skye from nearly every window. Friendly village- especially the shop. Loads of parking. House had a nice woodburner, good bathrooms and everything you need in the kitchen. The house was warm and cosy even in a storm. Really lovely get away. Will hope to visit again when the ferry is on and the pub is open (from April onwards I think)"

We were asked ahead of time how we wanted bed configuration, it was suggested we could all have king beds (beds could be pushed together & made up as kings) well none of the 3 beds were like that when we got there. Other than that it was close to shops, places to eat and Portree was lovely"

Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged on arrival so we had to unclog a large amount and also had to buy toilet paper as no spare was obviously seen. I found a the stalk from a buch of grapes by the side of the bed which i was surprised was missed if the floors had supposedly been hoovered!? The ajoining restaurant/pub was good. "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for new year's. Self check-in and out was very simple. The staff were really lovely, helpful and down for a chat. The view from our window was magnificent, overlooking the bay. The perfect home base for our explorations on Isle of Skye. The only thing that would improve the experience would be a mini fridge to keep groceries and milk fresh. Although mini fridges seem to be more common in Australian accommodation, as I haven't had one anywhere we have stayed in the UK. "

"Hotel was really nice we booked last minute and the views near by are amazing Gent on reception/bar/kitchen was really polite and helpful as he was there on his own because of holiday season Internet was down due to a bad storm that made the stay more remote as civilisation and home comforts were almost 1.5 hours away Don’t let that put you off when fully staffed and WiFi working I can only imagine the stay would be even better"
