Wilson Ranch Log Cabin getaway retreat

Welcome to Wilson Lodge and beautiful Heber Springs, AR. We are nestled in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains and home to our 40,000 acre Greers Ferry Lake and the world famous Little Red River. Wilson Lodge is a hand built log house nestled in the the seclusion of a 450 acre farm. The Log cabin is a 1330 square feet hand-built cabin with a wrap-around covered porch to enjoy the beautiful surrounding scenery. We provide all bed, bath and kitchen linens. The lower level includes an open beam design with a spacious living room and dining room with a wood burning stove, a full kitchen with all kitchen appliances and utensils, a full bath with a shower and laundry facilities. The upper level includes 3 bedrooms and a full bath with a garden tub. The Lodge comfortably sleeps 7. Bedroom #1 - a full size bed with a twin bunk bed on top, Bedroom #2 and #3 - two twin size beds. The property has a horse shoe pit, outdoor seating, picnic area, fire pit with wood and a large shaded yard with plenty of parking for cars and boats. We are within 10 miles of several access points to Greers Ferry Lake and the Little Red River. For the horse enthusiast we offer trail rides on a limited availability. For the hunter and fisher we have white tail hunts and fishing available on the property.

Absolutely wonderful!

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for and very affordable. Remote cabin but with AC and wifi and full kitchen! It was very scenic and quiet, lots of privacy. If you walk the grounds, check for ticks during the summer months. But we will definitely be back next time we are in Arkansas. Thank you guys for the wonderful cabin stay.

A little piece of heaven
Cabin was very clean and provided plenty of creature comforts. Very peaceful and quiet. Front porch was perfect to sit on while enjoying a cup of coffee. Our only regret was that we had to leave.

Simple living in the quiet country! We also enjoyed being close to town and the lake and river were very accessible. Probably couldn't have picked a better place to bring 4 kids! We should've brought our fishing gear though!

We loved enjoying the ranch during our visit! Lots of fun was had. Fishing in the ponds was amazing - we caught one fish after another. The Wilson family was so nice and great to work with. The kids got to ride horses and loved it. The milk and honey that we got at the ranch were delicious. We loved our weekend getaway and the memories we made as a family.

We loved the location. The House was clean, well kept, but our favorite part about the experience??.... the family! They were amazing people. They allowed us on their ranch and we got to spend time with their animals. My family had a great time. :) thank you Wilson family!!

Beautiful remote cabin
We enjoyed the lovely rustic cabin tucked away in a expansive property. We preferred this more remote and private location. My only suggestion would be to have better signage for directions, because the gps directions don’t actually take you to the address. The owners were very helpful though when we called and needed help finding the house. Overall, I would absolutely stay again. We enjoyed it so much.

Beautiful setting totally private cabin yet easy to get to. Two bathrooms and three bedrooms upstairs. Rustic buy everything you'd ever need. Host, Nan, was the best Host ever! Very reasonable cost for all you get. Also Zeke & Lizzy's restaurant in Heber Springs has the best Seafood we've ever had for not being near any ocean...!

Our family of 7 spent a belated Christmas celebration at this cabin. Accurate description, lovely setting and excellent communication with the owners. They even had set up a cedar decorated Christmas tree for us. Lovely experience and I hope we can return in the future

Great secluded stay
Very peaceful cabin/property with plenty of animals for kids to look at and/or chase around. The owners were kind enough to take some of my kids around on the horses and they even stopped by the first day to start a fire for us. We were able to buy steaks on site, which was nice. If you have kids old enough to roam around on their own, they could be gone all day and not see all of this farm. You're only about 15 mins from a Walmart, but when you're at the cabin, it feels more like you're hours away from civilization. We tried not to ask for much, but the owners seemed like they'd accommodate almost any request. Overall, a great stay and we'll likely stay again.
