"This was our second Christmas in a row to stay at The Chateau. Last year was a 5-star review and this year’s stay is another 5-star stay. I guess that makes The Chateau a guaranteed 10! You cannot ask for nor expect a better place to stay while visiting the Central Arkansas area. Some details: easily found using the given directions or by plugging the address into your phones mapping app, tons of parking space for family and guests, huge spaces to get together or get away to relax, 2 awesome kitchens, upstairs area is great for kids or teens, wrap-around deck for enjoying the sights and sounds of the river, outdoor fire pits for those that love sitting by a campfire, and a boat dock that you can launch from or just fish and relax. Margo, we will see you guys again! Thanks for making our Christmas a true blessing!"

"The hotel itself was nice. The staff was friendly and the breakfast they offer was good and had plenty of options. Our only complaint was there were no charging stations in the rooms and the hot water was spotty. "

"We had our family Christmas weekend and it was great! The kids fished off the deck and had so much fun! The house was perfect for us! The staircase is very tiny and wasn’t easy going up and down for adults but we made it work! Kids loved it!! It was cozy and comfortable. Beautiful in this area! We can’t wait to come back in the spring. We did have garbage disposal and dishwasher issues but it didn’t hamper our stay! Overall it was fantastic and we will rent again!! "

"We visited Heber Springs area with family and friends and stayed at this property for 4 days which we enjoyed a lot. Property is well designed and furnished with 2 separate living areas, large dining table and rooms to accommodate 8 guests. Heating worked well as we were in late November. Host had a lot of games and children books available which was great. Property is well situated within minutes drive to lake, groceries, fishing, tracking, marinas and beaches. We found the home well cleaned with no issues. Host has been very responsive during check in and throughout the stay. Would definitely book again from this host. "
