"Appreciated the location most! Just minutes from Ithaca and many hiking options. The kitchen had enough comforts of home to make meals and eat in. A few minor issues were quickly handled by the owner, including noting that the water filter in the fridge indicated a need for replacement. The owners left the filter as is but brought us bottled water. Future guests should know there are stairs to enter the guesthouse. The view is stunning."

"Clean, well decorated house with lots of room for the entire family from ages 13 to 74 (and one fur baby). Stunning sunsets from the deck and lots of laughs around the fire pit. Owner was quick to respond to any concerns. House is on a sometimes busy street but SO convenient to wineries, Olney deli and downtown Penn Yan. A good time was had by all! "

"The property was nice and comfortable. Fairly close to places we wanted to go. Fenced in backyard for our dogs. Michael gave us some tips on navigating popular spots. We had internet/tv issues so movies and football were nearly impossible to watch. Micheal tried to remedy it. Cell service also spotty here. "

"There are not many lakefront places to rent in the Finger Lakes that either (a) are not truly lakefront because a road stands between you and the water, or (b) don't have a zillion steps down to the water. This cottage, at 37 Seneca Street in Dresden, is truly lakefront, with a lawn down to a pebbly beach and a dock. "We had a wonderful stay at the guesthouse❤️. Five people two kids And a whole Lotta fun! Very relaxing while being near the NASCAR race, track and enjoying breweries and nature. We got a bit of everything! The house was just perfect. Everything we needed and more the owners were easy to reach and answered all my questions.. Five stars easy looking forward to our next trip"

"We stayed for an extended weekend and had access to wineries, museums, and waterfalls that were all within a reasonable distance and made for a nice drive. Overall, it was a good experience and the owners checked in with us when we forgot to message that we arrived. They were super nice and accommodated our special requests! "This house was perfect for our group of 4 friends. We enjoyed sitting on the covered deck overlooking the lake, watching the sunset and listening to the acorns bang off of the roof. We even got serenaded by a screech owl. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. "

"Cute primitive probably old hunting cabin under beautiful pine trees. The cabin inside is well kept. Nice hidden piece of property just needs some old unused things cleaned up under the leaves but overall was a very nice 4th of july weekend for us and our large dog."
