75 km north of Savonlinna, L.Ruokojärvi/Ruokovirta 25 m (length 5 km, width 100 m), part of L.Saimaa water system, shallow, hard sand bottom, opposite shore at point of cottage 200 m, main boat channel passes in front of cottage, own boat.

Log cottage 1984, fully renovated 2002, living room/ kitchen, bedroom 2 beds, bedroom 2 beds, washroom, sauna, open porch. Drinkingwater from a spring 1 km. Fully renovated, neat cottage for families. Maximun 2 pets allowed. Yard area level and partly grassy. Shore faces south and is suitable for children.

Good rapids fishing opportunities at Kermankoski, distance 5 km. Owner rents out outboard motor (2 hp), canoe.

Pääskyvuori downhill skiing centre 15 km. Heinävesi 13 km, Heinävesi monasteries 40 km.

gemütliches Ferienhaus
gemütliches und schön eingerichtetes Ferienhaus mit Sauna und Kamin und Feuerstelle. Tolle Möglichkeiten zum Beerenpflücken. Lage am Durchfahrtskanal nicht ideal. kein Wandergebiet, sondern nur im Hochsommer zum Bootfahren. Vermieter sprechen nicht Englisch, Verständigung und Service deswegen fast unmöglich. Betten alt und durchgeschwitzt.

Sweet holiday home
in a really beautiful location on the shores of Lake Saimaa. Good berry picking and mushroom terrain. Finding your destination was a bit cumbersome but was worth it
