Waterfall Retreat Cabin

This unique private cabin is located at the "Cascades Inn", Waterfall Retreat. Nature lovers will enjoy several beautiful hiking trails; one of which leads to the Tiger Falls Waterfall viewing platform. A second trail leads the way through the forest ending up at the rushing waters of Tiger Creek.

Our waterfall retreat offers several Multi-level decks with rocking chairs and fire pits. Creekside swings allow you to just sit and enjoy the tranquil Tiger Creek rushing past.

This stand-alone private hillside cabin has a glass front entrance leading into the living room with a tall cathedral ceiling, large couch, a gas log fireplace and a reverse cycle AC unit.

Family ready, this cabin sleeps four people. It offers a queen twin and full bed that is located in a popular ladder accessed lofted Bedroom.
The cabin has plenty of closet and built-in draw storage.
One Bathroom with ample cabinet and counter space, and a shower.
(*Please Take Note Cabin One and Two Are Elevated Up A Flight Of Stairs! If You Have Trouble Maneuvering Stairs Please Book Something On The Main Level*)

There is a fully equipped and full equipped galley kitchen (Ref. w/Ice Maker, Stove, Micro, Toaster and Coffee Maker). We supply dishes, silverware, utensils. Also available for your use are some basic pots pans and cooking essentials.

Bring the steaks! The cabin’s deck is perfect for a family cookout. There is a round table, 4 chairs and a gas BBQ grill.
Ready to sit around a campfire telling stories while cooking everyone's favorite smores? We have you covered with a nice little campfire area as well.

RABUN COUNTY has a number of picturesque waterfalls many of which are easily reached by relatively short trails. The county also has numerous hiking trails most notably a portion of the Appalachian Trail.
LOCAL PARKS INCLUDE; Blue Ridge Mountain Moccasin Creek State Park, Chattahoochee National Forest, Timpson Cove Park at Lake Burton
SEASONAL ACTIVITIES INCLUDE; trout fishing, award-winning wineries, distilleries, white water rafting, horseback riding, zip lining, Black Rock Mountain State park, tubing, golf, mountain coaster rides, snow tubing, and a variety of waterfall hikes.
We are ideally located. Just 9 minutes to Tallulah Gorge, 3 minutes to Rabun Arena, 5 minutes to many restaurants/fuel/quaint shops, etc…; 29 miles to Helen, & 31 miles to Smithgall Woods!

Cozy and lovely place
Lovely and cozy cabin right next to a river with water fall. The sound of water was very relaxing. The cabin although old was very clean and the folks taking care of the place were very sweet. Would definitely come back here again

The cabin is older, but it is clean and charming. Although the parking space is small, all cars were able to fit on the property. The location is wonderful with access and view points on the river. We will definitely return.

Cozy, Rustic cabin; friendly, easy checkin.
My husband, teenage son and I were looking for a quick getaway in the beautiful N GA mountains. Our cabin was cozy and clean and had everything we needed. Ideally located and nestled in a quiet, wooded mountainous area, it was still close to plenty of restaurants and things to do. We hope to return again!

Good Stay
First the place was clean and comfy. My mixed feelings come with the fact that it was located at the top of a parking lot with some woods and then a highway on the other side. If you have dogs, they better be able to get creative with how they do their business because there are few flat wide open spaces. The front door is a sliding glass door with a lock that flips up and down so I wasn’t feeling too safe about that. I also didn’t know this was part of an inn until I got the room details via text the week before. The inn would have been a better stay. Everything is outdated but also quaint. I can’t say that it was a bad stay, it just was different than my expectations.

Wonderful Place

Amazing property
We were not expecting what we saw in this property. We saw a few pics online, but the setting and the trails and spectacular waterfalls left us speechless. It was such a beautiful, natural setting and the property owners couldn’t have been more accommodating. We are definitely coming back!!

Great stay! Listen to the falls, relax on the porch, go for a hike!
We couldn't ask for more. The ease of access to the amazing sound of the waterfall. I slept like a rock, then could get up and go for a short hike! Everyone was friendly and helpful. We'll never stay with my relatives when we visit, this is our own oasis. They all came over and hung out at our place. ;)

2 beautiful waterfalls and just a very nice place.
Even though it is close to the highway it didn’t bother us at all we barely even noticed. 2 beautiful waterfalls a grill with propane provided and corn hole! Hung out with one of the other guest while there and it was a great experience. Will be coming back!

Small town fun
The Cascades Inn is in a great location for outdoor enthusiasts. A lot of parks and recreational activities are close by for you to enjoy. Also, the town of Clayton is not far away (10-15 min). We shopped, explored and ate at the Clayton Cafe (absolutely amazing)! We enjoyed our stay at the Cascades Inn but thought the inn could use a little maintence TLC.

Wonderful, quirky, and friendly
My mom and I stayed there for a weekend get away. The cottage was cozy and clean. There was a beautiful waterfall on property that was lit up at night, and there was lots of outdoor deck space to hang out and look at the river, play corn hole, grill, etc. The only downside is that it is right on a highway, but when on the property, you can't really see/hear it.

My kids were so excited to sleep in the loft with their dolls! They had such a great time on the little nature walk they took as well. It’s a beautiful area with a cute downtown area and some great food choices!

Cozy Cottages w/amazing Ambiance
The cottages are a little outdated, but this gave them a very quaint, cozy feel. The property is really nice. Great views of the creek & falls, beautiful places to sit & enjoy the sounds, sunrises & sunsets. Very easy drive to downtown, shops & wineries. Highly recommend this property for a peaceful, relaxing getaway!
