Another great week at Lake Burton
This was our second year visiting this lovely home. Very relaxing with a fully equipped home. When not on the boat, the large yard allowed for lots of frisbee, spike ball, ping pong and sunbathing. Gathering around the fire pit with our teens/young adults provided the perfect end to the day. Host very responsive and a please to work with.

We loved our stay! The home is beautifully appointed and has plenty of room and everything you need for a large family or friends gathering. The yard is incredible - worth booking for the yard alone! Adults loved sitting in the boat house watching the kids play on the lawn. The house is managed by the owners which makes a huge difference - they were responsive to every question, followed up immediately, and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. We rented the boat and loved spending time on the water. Our only negative was that we were just here for a long weekend. We wish we had more time. Book this - you will love it!

Nice house with flat, huge backyard with access to Lake Burton via canal/creek. Very well furnished with toys, games, etc. Host was very responsive. Creek a little tricky/slow to navigate but worth it for lake access.

Fantastic retreat
We had such a great time here over Memorial Day weekend. The house is very nice. The owners do a great job of anticipating their guests' needs by stocking with basics including wood for the fire pit and sticks for marshmallows/smores! The location is very peaceful and tucked away down Dick's Creek w/ the ability to take the boat out to the big water. Perfect for paddle boarding, canoes, etc.

Wonderful Stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Lake Burton Oasis! The lake house is beautiful and sits directly on the water. We enjoyed the fire pit and pontoon boat rental! It was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Lexi is very sweet and a wonderful host! We are looking forward to staying at the Lake Burton Oasis again soon!

Relaxing week at Lake Burton
Thank you to the Wagner family for opening your wonderful home to us for the July 4th week. Lexi was very responsive to several questions on the day of check-in, and Lee was gracious to respond to our questions on July 4th about their pontoon boat that we rented. My husband, two teenage sons, and my parents had a terrific time at Lake Burton Oasis. We cooked all but two meals at the house and found the kitchen well stocked for our needs. We enjoyed the boat house while relaxing on the bed swing or working puzzles on the picnic table. The grill and outdoor dining area were perfect for our use. The patio seating area was comfortable. The water and recreation toys were plentiful... my boys especially loved the outdoor ping pong table in the covered patio! We finished week with smores around the firepit. To note - unlike many LB houses that we have rented, the road leading to the house is fairly flat and not difficult to traverse. The parking area easily accommodates 3 cars... a 4th might be a tight squeeze. My parents were happy to see that the bedroom with two full beds and an adjoining bath is on the main level and doesn't require stairs to access. The patio and level backyard are accessed through that bedroom, as well as the hallway and great room. The other two bedrooms are upstairs and each have an adjoining bath. Overall it was a terrific time for our family!

Amazing family time
Spent a week here with my kids and parents and everyone had a great time. Backyard was great for some kickball! Youngest (4) loved taking the canoe up the canal to play with rocks in the “stream”. Short trip out the canal to the lake for some great swimming and tubing. Pantry had the basics (salt, pepper, spices), plenty of pots and pans, and the beds were comfortable enough. Canal was easy enough to navigate the boat in and out and it was only mildly inconvenient compared to being on the main lake. On the plus side it was very quiet and peaceful without really any other boat traffic. Only down side was yard waste seemed to collect right around where you can get in and out of the water so not great for swimming right off the dock. No one’s fault, just the way the wind/current was working out.

Property is very private with an amazing backyard that leads to the waterway. While we visited in February, with the weather still chilly and water levels low, I can easily see how this property would be an amazing summer stay. House had everything you needed to enjoy your trip. Lexi was also very responsive.

The setup of the inside of house was great and clean. Plenty of room, stocked with staples like toilet paper, coffee filters, etc. There was plenty of space outside for the kids to run around and play. Our biggest let down with the property is that it is not truly lake front - there is a 15 foot wide canal that connects to the larger lake. In addition, we had hopes of fishing off the dock with the kids. Unbeknownst to us, the lake levels are dropped in the fall, so there was maybe 1 foot of water on average in the canal. Some areas had no water at all. It was a big disappointment for the kids. We would definitely stay here in the summer, but not in the off season.
