I recently went hiking and decided to spend one night in Dahlonega. Since it was just me, I didn’t want to spend a whole lot of money on a hotel so I try to find the closest cheapest option that seemed acceptable.
I have tended to have good luck with Quality Inn, and this one was no exception. It was definitely dated, but everything was well maintained and in working condition. It was very clean.
The staff is very friendly and courteous, and the process to check in and check out is quite easy. Parking is also really easy.
There is a free breakfast, but I did not eat it. I went to a local place instead.
This does have a nice view if you are in the back of the hotel.
It is about a half mile walk to the city center. There’s a crosswalk right in front of the street and if you use that crosswalk, you can have sidewalk all the way into town. It’s a fairly easy walk and the area is not bad.
