Lee's apartment building on saddle mountain

Lee's Bunkhouse was built in 2002 using a mixture of natural woods giving our bunkhouse a true Montana feel! The 700 sq. ft cabin open floor plan has 1 Bathroom, 1 Queen bed and 2 twin beds located in open loft area. This Cabin houses and displays many adventures of hunting and fishing in and around the state of Montana. Partial kitchen with 2 burner hot plate, microwave, toaster oven, refrigerator, Coffee Pot and all kitchen wares.48 Inch flat screen TV, pool table, and games.
After a full day in the mountains slip away to enjoying all the great specialty shops, breweries, golfing, biking, hiking trails, theater, plays, farmers markets, Historical land marks on the Last Chance tour train and the night life all within a short 12 mile drive to down town Helena.
Year round outdoor activities are endless. Skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, 4 wheeling, boating, hunting, or enjoy the World Class Blue Ribbon trout fishing on the Missouri River. Owners live on site

Beautiful cabin, rustic feel while glamping. You can tell how much they care for the property by all the little details. Also had wonderful friendly dogs & kitty cat who were frequently visiting at out door. Will definitely be back

This bunkhouse was incredible. The pictures do not do it justice. Debbie and Lee are extremely helpful and kind. We loved every minute of it. I would absolutely recommend this bunkhouse to anyone needing a place to stay in Helena.

Family road trip
Our stay at Debbieā€™s was excellent! The communication leading up to our stay gave us a sense of calm and confidence. We needed a place to get away and this was what we needed. Close enough to Helena if we needed anything big but up and remote enough that we were able to take a good hike up and see some wildlife and get away. Debbie was lovely and welcomed us with open arms. The bunkhouse was very clean and cozy. Our kids loved that we were able to play a couple rounds of pool too! Thanks for this stay and for a chance to breathe in the fresh mountain air!

Had some friends come out to visit and help me with some projects around our place. They stayed at the bunkhouse while here and everything was super. Relaxing and great mountain bunkhouse feel.

Great out of the way place
Fun staying in this man-cave for a couple of days. This was home base for some off-road Jeep excursions in the area. Friendly pets are always great. Semi-off the grid as well. Small touches were well done. Coffee choices, spices, toiletries were all well stocked and more diverse than a typical VRBO.

We came up from Wyoming to see family. The place was perfect for the adventure enthusiast! Off the beaten path, with beautiful views! The place allowed for my sons to get out and take a deep breath from a crazy couple of days! And my oldest just loved the loft bed that he got to use!

So many great things to say. It was definitely our favorite yet!
The 4 legged meet and greet crew was such a added bonus. The Leeā€™s take absolute pride in their bunk house and property, it truly was beautiful and the hospitality was phenomenal. As my husband stated ā€œitā€™s like having a sleepover at Cabelaā€™sā€ it was such an amazing experienceā€. Thank you so much!

We stayed for 12 days at The Bunkhouse. It was Amazing!!
We have 2 kids ages 14 and 9 and they loved it just as much as we did! The Bunkhouse was clean, well stocked and comfortable! Debbie was so sweet and thoughtful, and made us feel like family! The Bunkhouse has friendly neighborhood dogs and a kitten as well as horses nearby. We enjoyed the Lee Family's hospitality and kindness! The fridge was stocked with water and the kitchen with popcorn! What more could we ask! Debbie even had a bottle of wine, some huckleberry chocolate and jam to great us! It was a quick jaunt to Helena where we have family. We definitely would stay here again! Thanks Debbie, Kurt, Stephanie, Brenna and Family! We loved our stay and time with you!:)

Oh ma'gosh everyone...you need to stay here!!! I was looking for a hotel originally when planning a visit to my son's in Helena and this VRBO popped up as an option. It was only 6 minutes from the property to our sons appt in Helena. (since the speed limit is 80, eeekkkk!) When i saw the pics of all the stuffed animals (mounts) I immediately got goose bumps as my husband is a full time hunter and part time husband (haha). So i read the reviews and the price is very reasonable vs staying in a hotel. When we arrived at Lee's Bunkhouse, i immediately squealed as the pictures do not do it justice. Before i opened the doors to the bunkhouse I told my husband "Ge ready to crap your pants!" his first words were "HOLY BLEEP!ā€Then the hubster seriously spent the next 2 hours inspecting the mounts and all their glory. We were greeted by Debbie, the owner and her wonderful pets Hank, Ren and orange kitty (can't remember his name). Debbie is one of the sweetest kindest people you will ever meet...and too generous w/all the amenities provided. A nice bottle of wine, chocolate and jam were waiting on the pool table for us. I tell you, if I could give this place 10 stars I would. The sweet furr babies greeted us every time we left and came back to the bunkhouse. Such sweet pets and made our stay feel that much more like home, sigh. We will definitely stay here again.

This was a great place we absolutely loved it and the fact it was a last minute stay we got to book and be there within short notice which was also great. Debbie and Lee do everything they can to accommodate their guests which is wonderful! Definitely recommend!!!
