Stayed 1 night at Motel Ingham. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Right across from TYTO Wetlands and the information centre, but about a 10min walk to main town centre (nice walk during daylight along the wetlands boardwalk).
Floors were tiled and with it being wet season, would just suggest having a floor mat at the door to wipe shoes as you enter.
