The best accommodation we had during our visit to Denmark - yes, I didn't mistake Sweden for Denmark - our accommodation in Copenhagen was cancelled in the last minute, so I found this "hostel" in the neighbouring Helsingborg by accident, but we're now so grateful that we found it.

It was very clean, nice big room. There were three of us, all ha plenty of space. We got information that the hostel was fully booked, but there were never any queues to toilet or shower. Great breakfast in a cosy environment. Definitely worth the money! Oh, and only about 5 minute walk from the station.

The receptionist was welcoming and friendly enough. The rest rooms and showers are pretty cramped and could do with a bit of renovating. Room was cleanish but had hair silver fish on the floor. It served its purpose for us. But Luxury is a bit of an overstatement to say the least!

Had a frustrating experience. We requested to Expedia to reach out to the property and asked if they could issue a refund as we will not be able to check-in as it was very far from Stockholm. We asked for flexibility, but since our booking was non-refundable and doesn’t allow any exceptions, they’re sticking with their strict cancellation policy and won’t issue a refund. Will be extra mindful next time. 🙂

Complicated access after reception closed. Had to call to get a PIN code sent. Code never arrived. Had to call again to get code on phone. Code did not work for main entrance, only for key card box inside - but I was lucky to be let in the main door by other guests. Sink in one bathroom was leaking all over the floor. Other bathroom had no soap in the dispenser. Yes, it is really cheap and you get what you pay for I suppose. On the bright side, the bed was comfy and the room suprisingly spacious.

Jag och min syster hade det mycket bra där. Vi valde det minsta och billigaste rummet för två, med delad badrum och dusch utanför. Det var trevligt att där fanns ett kök nere i matsalen som man kunde laga eller förbereda sin mat i under dagen. Frukosten som serverades var bra och god. Stället är hund-vänligt. Fin utsikt från vårt rum.
