Natural beauty and quiet

I love the location and the quiet. Even though I (without a car) need to walk uphill for 15 minutes from the train station to the hotel, I do it happily to be near Helsinki's lovely rocky outcroppings (kalliot). I've been here three times and each time, it's the best view outside my window that I can get in Hki, in my opinion. There's a large shopping center at the train station and so, everything one would need. If you come here, don't miss a chance to walk on top of Vallikallio, WWI fortifications trenches built into the rock. They are just behind the hotel. Gives a sense of history.

Cheap and cheerful, good value for money

Cheap and cheerful, comfy beds. Room had cutlery, plates and mugs (which we needed to wash after use). The only downside was the smell of cigarettes coming in from people (workers who stay at Forenom) there. There was free parking outside, garage would have required a paid booking. Lighting outdoors around the parking could be improved for increased feeling of safety at night.

Aluksi en oikein tajunnut, miten taloon pääsee sisälle. Onneksi toinen asiakas päästi. Hissi mielestäni ei toiminut toivotulla tavalla joka kerta. Siisti pikku asunto sopi hyvin parin päivän työreissun majapaikaksi. Jouduin liikkumaan työni vuoksi autolla, ja kaikki katujen ja ulkoparkkipaikkojen autopaikat olivat täpötäynnä kun saavuin keskellä yötä. Soitin Forenomin puhelinpalveluun, josta ystävällinen naisihminen auttoi varaamaan kohtuuhintaisen paikan talon alla sijaitsevasta parkkihallista, joka olikin miltei tyhjillään.
