"This little bungalow is located in the cutiest little neighborhood, with really nice families. Is within walking distance of the beach and grocery store. The outside set up was a great place to enjoy that morning coffee. The local manager was very on top of any problem we had. Very comfortable."

"This property worked out very well for our weekend stay for our son’s wedding. House had everything we needed, including a Keurig coffee maker and a French press. We mostly came and went between wedding weekend activities, very quick drive to DT Santa Barbara and the coast. Large enough to gather some family for the in between times. Two driveway parking spots and street parking is available, which was nice to have also. Very good & quick communication when needed. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Very comfortable home and fabulous view. We were a little alarmed when we arrived and just saw a dirt/gravel driveway and no house!. We found it with no problem and there was plenty of parking. We also loved being able to have our dogs with us. It was a great location for a family wedding with many events taking place downtown."

"Stayed here for a girl's trip. House was so cute! The backyard was AMAZING. We loved the jacuzzi and fire/pit table for roasting s'mores. The house came with basic necessities – salt, pepper, seasonings, etc. Which was great! And of course, we came the weekend Santa Barbara was 92 degrees (which is not the norm for that area). The house does not have air, so we spent the majority of the evenings outside in the backyard. The bedrooms were spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. There are beach towels to use (which was great because we didn’t pack any). We made sure to wash them before we left so the owner wasn’t stuck washing them. There is beach access less than ½ mile away. However - watch out for the many, many, many steps! Just when you think you are almost down the hill, the steps just keep coming. LOL. We spent the day at Arroyo Burro Beach Park (which was less than a 5 min drive). It is a dog friendly beach (off leash) – so if you don’t like dogs running around, this is not the beach for you. There is a restaurant on the beach which was nice. Also, I’m not sure if it had to do with the time of year, but the seaweed was really bad. Every time a wave came in, your feet would be tangled in the seaweed. We couldn’t even swim because it was so bad. We did spend one day downtown and on the pier. Over there didn’t seem to have a seaweed problem. "

"This is an old family home and has not been renovated in quite a long time. It was fine for the trip I took with some pals to ride bikes in Santa Barbara, but it it was a family trip or romantic one, this home would not be a very good choice. It's a bit rough and things are not very clean. Not the worst possible, but far from the best. "

"We loved our stay. House is well appointed. Hot tub was luxury after hiking and spending the day at the beach. We willl definitely come back!"

"Pros: -Great location on the Mesa of Santa Barbara, close to the beach, shopping and restaurants -Gorgeous fenced-in backyard for dog -Quiet (other than some noisy neighbors the last couple of nights) -Easy parking -Excellent customer service with VRBO with easy-to-follow check-in instructions -They allowed me to check in early -Clean -Safe neighborhood Cons -Outdated appliances with no dishwasher or coffee maker (there was a tiny French press). Few utensils. -Old architecture. This is not a new place. It is a bit run down. -Thin walls. We could hear the people in the main house yelling at each other for two nights. -Very scratchy bed sheets and pillowcases in the main bedroom. -We could not get the heat to work (but to be fair, we did not contact VRBO because we kept thinking it was something we were doing wrong). We never did figure it out."
