This fantastic two-storey holiday home in the holiday home village of Süssauer Strand is located directly on the Baltic Sea. You can enjoy the sun and the beautiful Baltic Sea air twice: from the cosy living area you can access the pretty veranda surrounded by greenery. On the first floor, you have direct access to the balcony from two of the three bedrooms.

The house is also perfectly equipped for a holiday in the cold season: after long walks on the beach, you can warm up in the sauna and then relax in front of the open fire in the living room.

The Süssau beach is a long natural beach. Please note that most of the beach is also open to dogs. There is plenty of space for children to let off steam and a large playground is also available to guests directly behind the dyke. Coin-operated washing machines and a coin-operated dryer can be used at the service office.

For anglers, the Süssau beach offers a unique sea trout stretch.

Süssau is located in the 'fair-weather corner' of Ostholstein near the sunny island of Fehmarn.
Should the weather not play along, the surrounding area offers many worthwhile excursion destinations: the Schleswig-Holstein Lake District, the Hansapark in Sierksdorf and the island of Fehmarn with a shark and marine centre, a donkey park and 'Noah's Ark'. Denmark is also just a stone's throw away.

Well-developed cycle paths open up the beautiful landscape of Schleswig-Holstein to you. There is plenty of space for children to let off steam in the holiday home village. New friends can be made quickly in the large playground.

Enttäuschende Urlaubserfahrung
Am Haus ist ein erheblicher Renovierungsstau zu verzeichnen. Eine Balkontür kippt beim Öffnen um, der Rollo für diese Tür ist defekt, die Brause an der Badewanne ist nicht nutzbar, da der Brauseknopf defekt ist, das Licht im Wohnzimmer ist defekt, aus dem Hausanschlussraum kommt ein erbärmlicher Geruch, und die Heizung fiel zwei mal komplett aus, so dass wir an den 10 Tagen Aufenthalt 6 Tage kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen etc. hatten. Hier wurden uns von der Verwaltung nacheinander verschiedene Häuser zum Duschen zur Verfügung gestellt. Diese Situation ist besonders für eine Familie mit Kleinkind von 9 Monaten nicht tragbar. Ein Umzug in ein anderes Haus wurde uns erst am vorletzten Tag angeboten. Ansonsten blieben alle Mängel, obwohl vor Ort sofort gemeldet, unbearbeitet. Fazit: Einen ordentlichen Service stelle ich mir anders vor und hätte so ein Versagen von einem so renommierten Anbieter nicht erwartet.
