Incredible stay, just a short coastal walk to Hermanus waterfront. Owners were amazing hosts, super helpful and fun! Nikki gave some excellent recommendations while Stefan served up amazing breakfasts. A brilliant tag team! Room was also lovely. Thank you for a memorable short visit!

The host Nikki is outstanding and very helpful. The room size is good and comfortable. Warm electric blanket. Nikki helped us with our Whale trip but unfortunately it got canceled at last minute due to bad weather. Will stay here again without hesitation

We loved our stay here. Stephan and Nikki are perfect hosts. The guest house is clean and very comfortable. It is right on the cliff path and close enough to walk into town. The breakfast is also amazing,cooked by Stephan. Couldn't have stayed anywhere better.

Perfect place to stay in Hermanus
We had a wonderful experience at Penguino Guest House. Stefan and Nikki were very welcoming and Stefan had lots of great local suggestions. The breakfast was fantastic. The guest house is just steps away from the Hermanus cliff path and great whale-watching. This is the place to stay in Hermanus!

Would highly recommend the Penguino. The hosts, Stefan and his wife Nikki are wonderful and really go out of their way to make your stay easy and comfortable. Absolutely lovely property in easy safe walking distance of Hermanus centre. Safe secure parking within locked boundary. The owner was really friendly and helpful, with lots of advice of things to do and places to eat and drink. Comfortable clean accommodation and with a nice little swimming pool, although we were too busy to use it! Absolutely first class breakfast. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Excellent property with very professional service and comforting security. Superior rooms with great features including tea/coffee-making, good Wi-Fi, USB sockets by the bed. Breakfast excellent. Host Stefan very knowledgeable and helped us plan our onward travel. Situated a very short distance from the sea if you fancy whale watching and close enough to the town to reach a great selection of restaurants. We would highly recommend the Penguino.

En fantastisk vistelse som vi gärna gör om! Det här stället är en riktig pärla. Ägarparet är fantastiska – otroligt trevliga och alltid redo att ge tips om de bästa restaurangerna, utflykterna och vingårdarna i området. De hjälpte oss verkligen att få ut det mesta av vår vistelse. Frukosten är en upplevelse i sig med en perfekt kombination av à la carte och buffé. Allt var fräscht, välsmakande och serverat med stor omsorg. Vi kände oss varmt välkomna från första stund och kommer definitivt att återvända. Maravilhosa a estadia no Penguino! O casal de donos do hotel são extremamente simpáticos, atenciosos e solicitos! Quarto grande, aconchegante e bem limpo! Hotel bem localizado! Da para ir tranquilamente andando para o centro de Hermanus! Café da manhã maravilhoso feito na hora, pelo próprio dono do hotel, que cozinha muito bem!
