Definitely recommend for a couple who want a quiet holiday. The village is in a good location for walks but you would probably need to have a rental car to get around. "Immaculate house in small village situated in the foothills of Valle Gran Rey. Clean comfortable with all amenities, particularly the kitchen . Our 10 week stay was delightful in many ways. The owner encouraged us to use the fruit & herbs from the garden & each morning fresh oranges to juice for breakfast was a novelty. Fresh avacados were delicious too A good hiking area with so many viewpoints, quiet, peaceful & the local people friendly We hired a car to explore this fascinating island but...

"Just lovely - set up the mountain but worth the climb - walk down to the town which is perfect - great little bar across from the hotel and there’s just something about the hotel - it’s not the most luxurious or modern but it’s just done so nice. Will be back and the breakfast was lovely as well - highly recommended 👍👍"

"This was our return visit whist explaining La Gomera and although the hotel is still undergoing some building work it didn’t effect our stay. The room was newly refurbished and a the balcony had great view over the Main Street. San Sebastián is an easy place to walk round from the hotel. Breakfast was included and the staff refreshed items quickly my one small complaint was the toaster which didn’t work giving out so little heat there was no danger of injury or burning bread. Definitely a hotel to consider. "

"This is a beautiful, rustic hotel in a wonderful town in the mountains. It’s simple, but comfortable. The terrace is wonderful and I loved the many plants decorating each corner of the hotel. Make sure to have a working phone and ask for the owner’s phone number beforehand, in case you don’t find any instructions when you arrive. Everything worked perfectly for us, but several guests were locked out and we had to let them in and help them connect to the owner upon their arrival. Ask for a room on the ground floor if you have physical restrictions or difficulties climbing stairs."
