Breathtaking
Ghost Canyon Getaway is a wonderful place to stay. Everything was readily available for cooking on the black stone griddle or the grill. The property is beautiful and everyone is very friendly. I would highly recommend staying there! If I could give it more stars, I would.

A Quiet, Calm, and Incredible Getaway
Ghost Canyon Getaway was one of the greatest places I’ve ever stayed. The hosts were phenomenal, incredibly kind and warm. They offered me Easter dinner and company and ensured I had everything I needed for my long weekend away. The location was gorgeous and I am looking forward to going back as soon as I can. Our stay was very nice, Matt was a great host and while we didn’t need much from him, it always felt like he was just a message away if we did. I loved the location, as it was away from everything else so the perfect place to relax after the days activities. The views were gorgeous, and overall just felt so peaceful. The room was very nice and tidy when we arrived, and well taken care of. Matt supplied many items we may need during the stay, which was very much appreciated. We loved our stay very much, and would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful!
Our family really enjoyed our stay at Ghost Canyon. The room was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The hosts were extremely attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the views outside on the patio, using the fire pit, grill and Blackstone griddle, and our kids loved the animals and the yard games. We spent most of our daytimes exploring the Black Hills area, so coming back after a long day to cook our own meals and relax by the fire was perfect! We definitely want to plan another trip!

The horseback riding next door was cool. The owners were really great. The place was clean and absolutely beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and worked out great. All of it was great. A stove would have been nice. The place was a little bit smallish. Over all really nice!!

Overall great experience!
Had a great, comfortable stay. My husband developed allergies, so we aren't sure if there was maybe animal dander in the room or simply unexpected seasonal allergies. The room was stocked with more kitchenwares, including a toaster, than listed in the description, so that was a pleasant surprise!

Peaceful and Awesome
We stayed at Ghost Canyon and had a blast! It was our second anniversary trip and we took our four month old little girl with! The place is beautiful and very peaceful! They have cows and horses that you can pet , and you see deer every day! We also got to use a black stone griddle to cook breakfast every morning! If you are looking for a place with great hosts and family friendly this is the place! Definitely recommend! They also have a basketball hoop there as well!

A step back in time
Absolutely loved it here! You get poor cell service. But the have wifi.they have cows you can feed and pet.The get away from the big city! I liked the rustic/ cowboy theme. The stars in the dark night sky was just a added bonus.

Very peaceful and beautiful!
Enjoyed our stay--very comfortable room and beautiful property, and very quiet environment. We were there by ourselves most of the week but when we had neighbors, the walls are pretty thin so that's my only negative. It's a bit of a drive to get down the dirt road but so nice when you get there.

Gorgeous!
The scenery and location were fabulous! We enjoyed the landscape of the neighborhood and the views in behind our room where we sat in the morning with our coffee and in the evening with our wine. The room itself was decorated very nicely in a horse theme, and it was supplied with everything we needed. It was within driving distance of all the places we wanted to see: Mr. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer State Park. I would definitely return!
