Only negative was the communal bathroom right next to our room it was quite noisy when showers were in use. It was a great base camp while we explored the area.

Not many hostels in Hervey Bay but if you’re looking for an eco-friendly option this is the place. The girl at reception was nice, helped me out with some things and just good chat. Rooms are clean although a bit worn down. But then again it has pretty affordable pricing. Enough amenities to get your solo travel sorted out and nearby the beach.

The room was small but very comfortable & quaint, with a nice en suite, comfy mattress & heater Unfortunately the noise from other guests was the cause of a very restless night. Room 12 was where we stayed. Would stay again but potentially in a different room. Checkin was friendly & helpful.

The lodge was lovely. We had a double room ensuite The only negative was the noise. The lodge was a light build and not very sound proof. Could hear the sounds of flushing toilets and moving objects

Lovely atmosphere. Room 12 - there is a room above, noise travels straight through, they were very noisy from 6am. Ceiling fan needs repair, only the highest speed works.

+ Bon emplacement : esplanade, plage et quelques restaurants et bars à proximité. Assistance et bienveillance du personnel Les bungalow dans la végétation - aucune intimité : chambres accolées et murs en carton, aucune insonorisation Sanitaires très basiques et seulement 2 lavabos, 2 Wc et 2 douches pour tout le complex : c’est insuffisant, on doit souvent revenir ou attendre pour utiliser les sanitaires car c’est souvent occupé Mauvaise literie Chambres très sombres à cause de la végétation et qui auraient besoin d’un bon rafraîchissement.
