"The house was fully equipped and a great size. We loved the games room and garden with a bonus of horses in the field next door.You do need a car at this property as nothing nearby. We did have a great stay and Jean michel was very helpful. Thank you "

"Attractively decorated barn, very comfortable main bedroom, bedding less good in secondary bedrooms. Nice bathroom. Kitchen currently lacking practical equipment (pans, utensils, salad bowl...) but friendly owners seem open to improvement suggestions. Garden is pretty but lacks privacy - there is another rental property on the same site, so garden doubles as their access and parking ! Apparently the owners are looking at changing this. Located in a rustic farming hamlet, no shops or businesses...

"Le gîte est confortable, bien placé, et l'espace extérieur très agréable. Cependant, le jour même de notre arrivée, nous avons dû contacter Abritel pour obtenir les coordonnées des propriétaires qui n'avaient pas répondu à nos messages. Sur place, la TV est hors service, le Wifi n'est disponible que faiblement dans le jardin et le lave-vaisselle tout simplement inexistant !"

"The staff were all excellent, the room wonderful and the grounds pretty - a great overall sense of quiet and calm I did not like the booking experience with Expedia however - the photo linked with the room I booked was not correct and over-inflated expectation. When the hotel realised they changed the picture and offered us a free upgrade"

"We stopped at La Mansarde enroute to a tour of the war graves and memorials in France & Belgium. Our host Jacqueline was an absolute diamond, and what we both lacked in fluency in the native tongue of the other, was suitably accommodated via translation tools. La Mansarde is truly beautiful, very comfortable, within walking distance of fine restaurants and with the most brilliant host. I will stop in five other establishments across the duration of this trip, and nothing else will surpass La Mansarde."

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was well-equipped with a Nespresso machine, kettle, small hob, and all the necessary cookware and crockery for preparing simple meals. The air conditioning was very effective, and the shutters made the room wonderfully dark at night. The brand-new (2025) swimming complex was stunning, with a pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room – all immaculately clean and beautifully styled. White bathrobes were provided for guests using the facilities, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was served in the restaurant beside the pool, with an option to sit on the patio surrounded by beautiful hydrangeas. The host was warm, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would return in a heartbeat."

"La Ferme de Tigny is a genuine, working farm concentrating on chickens. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. It is B&B, with an excellent breakfast. There is a kitchen available for guests to use for coffee or tea making along with a fridge with a freezer compartment as well as a microwave. The location is very rural, so shops are some way away but it is very tranquil and calm. we had just an overnight stop on our way back to Le Shuttle but it would be a good option for a stay of a few days to explore the area. We would certainly consider doing this for a future trip."

"Such an unusual hotel. What a wonderfully warm welcome even though we arrived about an hour earlier than the advised check-in time. Beautifully clean rooms. Compact but everything you could possibly need. The only disappointment was the bar and restaurant beong closed on our visit (Monday). Apparently this is the case on Sundays and Mondays although that was not clearly advertised on the site I booked through. Would still highly recommend."
