Sweet Hibernation - Fireplace- 2 Master Suites

This secluded cabin has everything you will need for a relaxing and peaceful stay in the mountains. Comfortable beds and well appointed rooms. The master in the loft has a king bed and a private bath with a tub/shower combo. The master on the main floor is a queen and its private bath has a shower and a jacuzzi tub. The third bedroom is also a queen on the main floor and has a half bath right outside its door. The large livingroom has a gas fireplace perfect for cool winter nights, and wait till you see this kitchen. It has everything a cook could wish for to prepare family meals or a romantic dinner. The wrap around porch offers comfortable seating and a gas grill, along with outdoor dining. Imagine sitting there looking at Brasstown Bald and enjoying your morning coffee. While the privacy of the cabin makes it seem like a remote getaway, its not far from Hiawassee and the variety of activities and restaurants unique to this lake community. Whether it's a boat on Lake Chatuge, the casino in Murphy, zip lining in Helen, a train ride in Blue Ridge, or a winery tour; the activities are endless. At the end of the day if peace and relaxation is what you are looking for, this is the perfect place to get some R & R in the mountains.

The home was perfect for our get away. We travel a lot with our 89 year old friend. The level access to the main floor, living space and porch was perfect for for morning coffee and evening sunsets. 2 master suites with step-in shower was perfect for her. Close to numerous towns for day trips. We truly enjoyed our stay. Exactly as described.

This place was perfect for us. Far enough off the beaten path to be very quiet and peaceful, but close enough to town to get supplies and go to restaurants. The view from the deck is awesome. There's not a very good photo on VRBO to show it, but you have a clear view of Brasstown Bald. Everything was in great working order. Very comfortable beds. Kitchen super equipped. Surprisingly fast Internet for the location. We enjoyed the gas grill and the fire pit, as well as the rocking chairs. Would certainly stay here again.

Excellent place to vacation. The place is just like home.
We really enjoyed staying at your beautiful clean place. The view was fantastic. Just a few things I would like to make you aware of. The light above the stairs is burn out. Also we could not put the kitchen fan and light. Do wish we would have had an extra bench for the kitchen table, because we were 5 adults. We certainly would recommend your place. Thank you for letting us have it.

Sweet Hibernation was everything we expected. The cabin is located in the mountains surrounded by trees and very peaceful. The rooms were spacious and the decor complimented the cabin. The bears throughout the cabin doing different activities was a nice touch. The location of the cabin is a short drive to town. The city of Hiawassee is a moderate drive to Helen, Blairsville, Blue Ridge, and Ellijay. During our stay we enjoyed the State Parks, Lake Chatuge, waterfalls, and Hamilton Gardens. There are no shortage of things to do or just relax and enjoy all the cabin had to offer.

Fall Weekend Getaway
The cabin was immaculately clean and cozy. The high ceilings and windows brought in an abundance of natural light. The living area had a very inviting fireplace. The kitchen is very well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was a relaxing way to unwind from a busy day. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit at night and stargazing. The weather was perfect and the leaves around the cabin were vibrant orange and red. We would definitely return to this cabin for a longer stay.

This place was absolutely wonderful! It was one of the most clean cabin rentals we have stayed at. Had everything you could need plus some. Plenty of clean bath towels for everyone. Great selection of cookware and appliances to use. Plenty of extra blankets provided. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting in the deck in the mornings and evenings. Such a beautiful cabin and we will definitely be stay here again.

Isolated cabin-feel home near Kiawassee
Very clean, comfortable, great master bed/bath on first floor. Felt nicely isolated, yet not too far from town. Had trouble getting to property the first night, as a storm had knocked down a tree across the only way into the neighborhood. Voice comms with property manager were a little slow due to lack of cell coverage. But we had other options that first night, & the rest of the stay was enjoyable. The addresses on that road are puzzling; you have to go further than you think you should along the road up a hill before coming to the property. The address is out of sequence with other properties on that road.
