"Shawn's cottage was a perfect place for us to stay while visiting family in Franklin. The small enclave where the cottage is located includes very high-end homes on multiple acres. Although this cottage is in the backyard of the main home, it has a separate driveway, entrances, and outdoor spaces that make it feel more private. The bed is a firm yet comfortable foam mattress. "First, the pictures online do not do this lovely cottage justice. It is absolutely adorable! The wood vaulted ceiling with beams and skylights give the space such a warm feel. I found a book on display in one of the bedrooms that brought back so many wonderful childhood memories. That was icing on the cake for such a memorable weekend. "

"Everything was exactly as described. Very clean and well-decorated home. I appreciated that it felt like real people lived there and cared about the space and environment (compared to some rentals that have the bare minimum from IKEA and wayfair). I wish it were better weather so we could've used the fire pit and hammock. Kitchen supplies were great. We were 4 adults and two kids < 3yrs old."

"The property was clean,however, it lacked the attention that would cause me to use the property again if I am in the area. The furniture was dated as where the pictures use on the walls. There was only one smart TV on the property in the family room and it was much too small for the wall on which was mounted. The threshold on the front door needed to Be replaced as well as others in the house itself one commode and a bathroom was loose and needed to be tightened down. The host also failed to...
