A wonderful place to feel at home away from home. Excellent hot breakfast with fruit salad and friendly conversation. A beautifully renovated large old country home in the middle of a rural village. Definitely will be back.

This place is absolutely AMAZING! This is the best Bed & Breakfast we have ever stayed at! Everything is new and up-to-date, even having Alexa in the rooms. We met Joan, and she was super kind and sweet! She cooks dinner and breakfast for everyone, and it was SO delicious! The whole place is beautiful! I couldn’t recommend this place enough! We WILL be back again!

Rented the cottage, which was spacious and modern. I slept well on the comfortable bed with premium bedding. Breakfast had many options and everything tasted great. The owners gave a tour of the main house after breakfast & shared the history of the location. Whether you're looking for a quick getaway with a partner or a place to put up a larger party, Hickory House is well suited to the task.

Couldnt have found a better place to stay. Joan and Brian were fabulous hosts- so friendly and interesting to talk with.We were greeted immediately upon arrival and were asked when we would like to have breakfast served the following morning. The house was gorgeous and the food was amazing especially the homemade blueberry muffins and egg casserole. Will definitely return to Hickory House!!

Concert getaway.

We had a wonderful stay! Our hosts were welcoming, accommodating, and made us feel comfortable. Talking to them in the morning made us feel like we were old friends. They let us tour the grounds and accommodated our changing travel plans. I would 100% recommendation Hickory House to friends and family and will be back in the future.

The property was beautiful!! The pictures didn't do it justice, they have so much to offer there! Hot tub, fire pit, plenty of outdoor space. The interior is simlply gorgeous, every room has something to offer! The owners are such beautiful people, you automatically feel at "home" oh & the breakfast?? Well, you do not want to miss rhat!!!

Perfection!

This was an amazing bed and breakfast. Extremely clean and the hosts were very accommodating. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was exquisite. The bathrobes were a nice touch. The absolute best part was the breakfast that Joan cooked for us. A spread fit for royalty!! This was a nice find and we will definitely be back.

Hickory House is a 10/10 experience. Brian & Joan have created such a beautiful bed & breakfast. Joan is an incredible cook who is conscious of food preferences/allergies and went out of her way to accommodate. Our room, the Queen Suite, was tremendously comfortable, clean, and stocked with everything we could need. We were provided with all door codes to come and go as we pleased. As our first bed & breakfast experience we were so pleased! Thank you Joan & Brian for making us feel safe & at home, we will be back!

This is the cutest bed and breakfast I’ve ever been to! Joan and Brian were phenomenal hosts and treated everyone like family. Joan greeted us when we arrived, walked us through the cottage we were staying in and even provided us with snacks and drinks. They spent two years renovating the property and everything is gorgeous. Joan gave us a tour throughout her home and it didn’t disappoint. There are so many places to relax outside of your room and either enjoy time to yourself or visit with other guests. They even have a hot tub! Breakfast was also delicious! Everything was homemade including the muffins. Ask Joan about her plum muffin recipe. She was more than happy to share it with us. We will definitely return for another stay!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hickory House B & B, and it was an outstanding experience! From before we arrived, to when we checked out, the lovely hosts, Brian and Joan, warmth & friendly demeanor made us feel at ease right away. Their hospitality truly shone through as they shared excellent recommendations for local dining options, making our dining experience truly memorable. The property is absolutely charming, with beautifully manicured grounds that provide a serene backdrop for relaxation. We opted for the Efficiency Guest House, which was a wonderful choice. The modern renovations were impressive, and we particularly appreciated the spacious closet and the well equipped bathroom. Everything was spotless and exuded a delightful fragrance, contributing to the overall comfort of our stay. One of the highlights was the hot tub, which was perfectly heated. It offered a stunning view of the stars and the moon, creating a magical atmosphere for relaxation. Overall, our experience at Hickory House B & B was nothing short of perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this exceptional property to anyone looking for a charming getaway. You won’t be disappointed!

This property is unique in all the best ways! We loved the option to stay in The Cottage, which was adjacent to the main house, but afforded more space and privacy for my husband, my daughter and her friend, and me. The Cottage had everything we needed. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the main house the next morning with the rest of the guests. Would definitely recommend!
