"It's a small room, but comfortable. I slept well. The refrigerator doesn't properly work. I turned it to its coldest setting and still it would not freeze my Esky bottles. In fact the surrounds of the freezer part had melted water on it this morning, not frozen. The bathroom could do with somewhere to put things. There is room beside the shower for a small table."

"The staff were all friendly, the grounds were beautiful. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and lovely view. Breakfast was great."

"Our stay at Centelle Park was a relaxing retreat. The property offers a charming blend of rustic ambiance and modern comfort. Highlights include a luxurious spa and inviting pool under stars, perfect for unwinding amidst serene surroundings. The cozy living spaces and seamless indoor-outdoor flow make it an ideal getaway for relaxation and rejuvenation. Thank you Jim for hosting us, it was short stay but we will definetly comeback for more fun."

"We stayed here because we went to a concert for Hanging Rock and it was convenient. The free shuttle was particularly handy! The staff were really friendly, beautiful surroundings, nice enough foyer/restaurant. Breakfast consisted of a nice variety of hot and cold selections (albeit the 'hot' food was lukewarm). However the room was in serious need of an upgrade and a complete rip off for how much it cost. Firstly it was dark and dingy, with a poor attempt at a freshen up of what was once brick....

"I arrived late after dark and the destination / address listed was not where my confirmation said - despite a new GPS in a new Ford Ranger then google maps on my phone - I simply could not find the place. Signage needs to be improved off the main road- I actually can’t say if the place actually exists! I wouldn’t mind a refund or a credit to stay another time. I had to drive 40 Km away to get into a motel to get to my son at Puckapunyal the next day for a March out. Really disappointed 😢"

"Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely spa suite, very relaxing."

"Novella and Bob were wonderful hosts and very thoughtful which helped us settle us very quickly. As this was winter time we appreciated the fire already alight and even the electric blanket was on. Little extras in the fridge for us to enjoy we appreciated. Bed we found very comfortable. We will not hesitate to tell others of this special place and we will go again."

"We had a lovely time. Enjoyed seeing all the animals and feeding the baby goats. The hosts were approachable and friendly but we also felt like we were very private in our cabin. Absolutely loved staying there and will go again."

"Lovely, quiet, peaceful place to unwind from life’s stresses. The tiny house was very cosy for just myself and my Cavoodle. On my travels to the tiny house, Laureen was in contact and made sure I had plenty of blankets for the cold nights. The fire was beautiful! Will definitely return!"

Consider your options

"Whilst the host of this property has the opportunity to create a beautiful space for accommodation in an old style home on an expansive property, there is a number of factors that need to be addressed before this property should be allowed to be relisted on the Stayz website. Whilst there appeared to be some extenuating circumstances with a cleaner's avail-ability, the previous occupants had supposedly been in the accommodation two months. It was clearly going to need more then a few hours to clean it. Linen was not changed in the main bedroom and left with blood and other fluid substances on them. The microwave was full of old food pieces, and the fridge full of food. The property was listed as two bathrooms, one bathroom (ensuite) was not available, supposedly being renovated. This was a problem as we were bringing older people to stay at this accommodation who were not immediate family. There was no hand washing materials in the bathroom and the toilet had no window or drapes and was open to the elements. Meaning that in Sunbury region on a winters night in July it was exceptionally cold. I was required to fashion some type of covering with a scarf and sticky tape to make it a little less cold. Despite the question regarding stairs and access to the property, whilst there are no stairs there are steps down into the toilet area and out the back of the property. There is no fire safety equipment available in the kitchen or near the fire place. Seek another option."
