"The Historic Red Rooster Inn was a destination! It has been beautifully renovated and updated. A great deal of attention to detail and much love has been put into the property. "Quite a bit of exposed wiring in the gym… looking dangerous. Hot tub jets were broke and we called in advance to see if it worked. Desk receptionist Wes was wonderful. He said hot tub could be turned on if we come to the desk to ask but the girl who was on the night shift said she couldn’t turn it on. Room could have been cleaner.. A lot of bugs in the window sill and other small dirty details but nothing horrible. Breakfast was excellent! "

"It’s nice if you need a kitchen, but if you want some peace and quiet, ask for a higher up room. Mine was on the second floor, which technically is the floor where you check in. It’s family owned and the entire family, including screaming children are in the room right across from the lobby. So of course, my room was two doors down from theirs. I just want a place where I can relax and is quiet with few children, screaming and yelling."
