"Stayed in the Dove Apartment - best of both worlds with the pub restaurant downstairs and self catering facilities in the suite. Staff are really friendly and helpful - can’t do enough for you! They even provide a brochure with maps and instructions for good circular walks starting at the pub. Would definitely recommend."

"Stayed here for 2 night's in June and loved it, the place is warm and welcoming, the bed was massive and comfy with plenty of toiletries in the bathroom. Shower was easy to use and very clean, definitely stay here again. Breakfast was freshly cooked and cooked how you like it, the host was friendly and veey helpful."

Take away food, shops etc not far away in next town. Accommodation extremely comfortable. Everything you could want has been thought of. "Lovely room, perfect for relaxing after a day out walking. Chosen because it was dog friendly and it did not disappoint - good for walking into town and loved that there was a map showing us how to get there by avoiding the main road. Breakfasts were delicious! Thank you for our stay."

"This was a lovely home with gracious and helpful hosts, off-street parking and a fabulous garden right next door to a historic 14th century Norman church. Alistair gave us lots of very helpful information about beautiful local walks, along with excellent maps and detailed instructions. The village is great with several nice places to eat (again Tricia and Alistair gave us excellent advice), and a local bakery which will make you a packed lunch for your walks.
