"We traveled about 3 hours for a trip to Mayberry with our 5 year old and in-laws. The house was very clean and beds were comfortable. The house is in a great location. It is a short drive to everything. "

"Loved the location and the back room with the gas fireplace was really great! Place was very quaint and peaceful. A couple of the room heater remotes did not work and we had to shut these off by unplugging and the hot tub could use a new cover. These are simple things and we would definitely go back again. "

"This place was top notch from top to bottom, great communication with owner. Every thing u need ( we over packed) if you can think of it as far as amenities goes, it’s there. We will be back for years to come . If I were to have just one critique, it would be our yurt outside light went off automatically at 11:00, while the others stayed on for about an additional hour. But again I’m just not picking for even mentioning it. Great stay"

"This would be the second time we've stayed here. Great location near the state park. The pool has been redone and is excellent. A great place to unplug and rejuvenate yourself. "

"The views were beautiful and we didnt need to leave the whole weekend! You may want to stop for groceries on the way in. If you don't mind the drive, there's a little food lion aboit 20 minutes away. Definitely a getaway "PEACE" of space!"

"Our family wanted a getaway that was far enough away from everything but still close enough if we needed it. The house was exactly as advertised! It was super spacious and beautiful! The pond was fun to fish in while there was a fire going nearby! Lots of wildlife and relaxation! The thermostat was broken when we got there, so there was no heat, but communication with Alex was very consistent and it was fixed the very next morning! Same with the internet, a critter had chewed through the...

"Absolutely breathtaking view! My wife & I, her 4 brothers & sisters and their spouses had a wonderful time in this quaint, well-finished off, very nicely equipped log Cabin. We spent 4 nights there, had plenty of room for everyone, and we able to all eat together because of the large Dining area. Access to via the Parkway was excellent, and the hiking we did was only about 30 minutes away - incredible views on the hikes too! Very large deck with nice seating, and again - a spectacular view!!......

"Beautiful Chalet. Very clean with a gorgeous view of a small valley with tennis court and pond. We witnessed several deer visiting the pond. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting this property again. "
