Cute place and overall comfortable. Happy with the location and price. There was a slight musty smell in the room but nothing too terrible. Bring your own water to drink and to make tea & coffee as the water did not taste great.

A gem
Beautiful setting with view over countryside and the lake. Hotel very attractive with flowers everywhere and a lot of attention to detail in the room. Small deck where you can sit outside and admire the view. Within walking distance of 2 wineries and very central for exploring.

The room was lovely. Loved the private deck with the lake view! The location was perfect for exploring the Penn Yan region, Geneva, as well as Watkins Glen. Easy check in and check out. Any time we needed anything, the host responded within minutes.

Savannah House and Cottages provides great lodging and value in a beautiful setting overlooking Lake Seneca. The host family is gracious and helpful. They are on site, which is an added plus. The room is small, but is spotless and comfortable. Several good wineries are closeby and it’s a short drive to Watkins Glen. We thought it was much nicer than staying in the town. What could be better than looking out at a lake in one direction and vineyards in the other?

The property is a lovingly restored roadside motel. The rooms are small but the added sliding glass door to a private deck brings light and space. The sunrise view of Seneca Lake is breathtaking. Jeff is a great host and the grounds are immaculate. The room is appointed with interesting books and magazines . For a quiet “homey” place to stay this is a great find!
