Great spot for a VT game!
We found this to be a great location for a group of friends visiting town for a VT football game. There was plenty of space and the home was very clean. 30 mins from VT and the drive was very pretty. We'll definitely look at the spot if we do this again in the future!

Va Tech football get-away
Celebrated Hokie’s 30th Anniversary of playing on Thursday nights. The home sits in a beautiful area with plenty of room outside for our Black Lab. Firepit provided a beautiful evening of star-gazing. Host was in contact and we would look to come back on another visit.

Radford/Blacksburg House
We enjoyed our stay at this house. It is a scenic drive from I-81 and on a beautiful property. The house is very spacious with a new kitchen and bathrooms and plenty of room for 6 of us. It is a great location to get to Radford quickly and about a 35 minute drive to Blacksburg.

Claytor Lake Holiday
We visited Claytor Lake for a reunion and the property worked well for our Families. The house is in a very private and peaceful setting, it is also not far from the lake. It was well stocked and we appreciated the attentiveness of Michael, the owner. Be sure to try Aly's Family Italian Restaurant, they even delivered!

Amazing !!

Nice and Quiet!
We met Mike, the owner upon our arrival. It was wonderful to meet him. He was helpful and he provided us with an overview of the town and recommendations on where to get food. The place was nice and quiet. One thought: just look out for deer in town, when driving, there are lots of them!

Mtn. Home
We spent a week here while preparing to enroll a freshman into VTech. The area is beautiful. We found the home clean and comfortable and convenient. VTech is about 23 miles, Redford College about 10. Mike is super responsive to questions about the area and is a great host. We will definitely be back if we find the need a place to stay in the area again.

Rental was exactly as described online. Very spacious and Michael had left a welcoming gift of chocolate sprinkle doughnuts to enjoy. About a 30 minute drive to Lane stadium which is why we chose this rental.

Golf long weekend
The property was close proximity for us to play golf rather than staying in a hotel giving us room to move and function. Nice quiet country setting. We played Draper Valley, Great Oaks and Auburn Hills. No course more than :30 away. Wish we could have enjoyed more of the property. Probably played too much golf 😂

Simple and comfortable
Clean comfortable property. Quiet location. Kitchen was minimally equipped especially in regard to plates, (previously used by family ?) and silverware, lacking serving bowls and utensils. There were not enough soup bowls for the 4 of us, certainly not for 6. Towels in baths were clean but mismatched, again perhaps leftover from family use. Our concerns did not have a negative impact on our weekend, but a little more attention to kitchen basics and quality bath linens would give the house an upgrade.

After unpacking, we packed back up and left
This trailer is dirty, and does not have all of the things you need, such as a first aid kit and blow dryer. We threw the comforter in the washer as soon as we got there, because it was filthy. Hair on the toilet hair in the tub and the rug in the kitchen was covered in hair. At that point we said this is not for us, and we packed back up and left.

Very spacious, clean and peaceful!
We had a wonderful stay as we visited our student at VT! A beautiful ride to campus and not too far. House was very clean and had everything we needed. We even enjoyed a bonfire and so many stars. Would stay again for sure!

Great stay
we stayed here for a church conference so we really only were there to sleep besides a few days we came back to eat lunch there. i would have given 5 stars for cleanliness but the house has an odd smell. when we started the oven to make pizzas it had a horrible smell, one of our guests said they recognized it as rat pee in the oven. we ended up throwing all the pizzas we made away & using the air fryer. the house had good kitchen appliances & equipment. our kids loves the playground & i liked being able to contain them on the porch as well. the neighborhood is quiet & it was a peaceful location. i will say that i did not realize how far out it was, but it would be a great spot for a quiet getaway. there are beautiful horses beside the house as well, my kids’ favorite part! overall our experience was very good. it was a lovely, well kept home. i will also add that it is for sale right now on realtor, it made us slightly uncomfortable but may be a personal preference. the host was very accommodating for vrbo letting us book 1 over the limit & was very fast to reply if we needed something. our only complaint is the smell of the house & the oven when used. we would come here again though!

Overall the stay was good. We weren’t at the house much but to sleep and shower. The bedroom my husband & I slept in had a very stiff mattress not the best. When we arrived there were a few Cobb spiders in the rooms and bathrooms & cobwebs here in there. For the most part everything was cleaned & well maintained.

Lovely Stay
Family and friends gathered for the weekend which included a Saturday tailgating to watch the Hokies play. The rental was less than a half hour to the stadium. We had plenty of room to move about and use of the kitchen which helped with preparing for tailgating. Mike was there to meet me when I arrived, and help get me oriented to the house and property. All went well and we all thought the place was a wonderful rental.
