The property very clean. Staff are very polite. We just wanted somewhere close to hospital. We were not disappointed because the hotel was clean and new . The breakfast is just normal average but clean and fresh. In general for sure I'm going to recommended.

I travel fairly frequently for both business and pleasure - so have stayed at the higher-end (Marriott, Hilton) to the lower-end (La Quinta, Holiday Inn, etc.) places. I picked this particular cheap/affordable hotel because of unexpected one-night trip to HCMC - and just wanted to be near to the airport. For the price, the Solex is a great value (clean & fairly good sized room). It is located in an area with tons of (local) food venues. Just a couple minor things: the backside of the hotel faces two schools - so they can be noisy in the early morning. The breakfast was very simple during my stay - just a like 5 items - while I was happy with them - foreigners may not have enough options to be satisfied. But then again - I was only paying like $40USD for the night. Overall, I am happy and recommend the Solex for budget travelers or those who just need a quick short stay to get to the airport.

Lovely hotel, we stayed for 2 nights, very clean, staff were very accommodating. The rooms are spacious and have ac and a fan, very clean, large shower and comfortable bed. We will stay here again when we visit HCMC. Very reasonable price also good breakfast. Good area and in a quiet street.
