A beautifully renovated quality cottage, your home away from home, with three generous sized bedrooms plus beautiful art deco lead light windows, two bathrooms, ornamental fireplaces and polished Tasmanian Oak floor boards.
A spacious family dining room complimented by a large very well equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher, rice cooker, sandwich maker and slow cooker.
Air conditioned with climate controlled heating and also features a large original ceiling ornament, original stained glass windows and a wall mounted LCD television in both the family room and main bedroom.

The master bedroom comprises a queen bed, chaise lounge for private relaxation as well as wall mounted LCD television.
The second bedroom, with polished floors, also contains a queen size bed as well as an ensuite with duel hand basins, shower and a separate toilet with another hand basin.
The third bedroom contains two king single beds. All beds have electric blankets for the cooler nights as well as electric heating in all bedrooms.
The formal lounge, also air conditioned with climate controlled heating, is complete with beautiful lead light windows and twin leather couches, writing desk and large LCD television and DVD player. For your enjoyment there is a selection of DVD's as well as a large range of novels.
The family bathroom is beautifully appointed complete with bath/shower and heated towel rail, hair dryer and ceiling heating.
The laundry is fully equipped with auto washing machine and tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.

All commercial linen is supplied as well as tea, coffee (percolated coffee also), hot chocolate and a full compliment of amenities such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, bath gel and moisturiser.
Reverse cycle conditioners both heat and air condition Amy Cottage as well as each bedroom & bathroom having its own heating. Outdoor covered patio and BBQ plus table and chairs as well as an additional outdoor setting and umbrella in the garden. Ample secured off street parking for up to 4 vehicles.

Amy Cottage is only a short walk to the Post office, Woolworth's Supermarket, department store, speciality shops and a variety of food outlets and diverse cultural range of restaurants and the Moonah Arts Centre, being the cultural "hub" for the area.
It is within easy walking distance to Hopkins on Charles (another of our accommodation residences), approximately 400 metres apart.

Amazing place to stay for families if you are visiting Hobart. Just a 10min drive from Hobart it was our base to explore Hobart and the Huon Valley. The cottage is huge with 2 bathrooms and internal laundry facilities. All we needed for travelling with our 2 teens and 11year old. Short stroll to Woolies and amazing restaurants. Nara Thai was amazing.

If you want to stay in a part of Hobart where there is only a short walk to shops, eateries and the supermarket then this place is for you. It is very comfortable with everything provided. It is less than 10 minutes to the CBD. Would stay there again.

Good location
The cottage is in a good location near a grocery store and casual dining (easily walkable). The owner was great to work with. Only problem with one couple was that the door to the main bathroom is a folding door. That meant there was a gap in the door. Having a washer and dryer in the house is a wonderful bonus. The bedrooms were a nice size and the sofa in the dining area made for a great place to sit and talk.

Neat, well decorated, perfect!
We were in Hobart city break from Sydney and Melbourne. The place is lovely and has everything you need. It's very clean, presented very well and comfortable. We will definitely book again when we are back in Hobart.
