Parken gut und kostenlos, direkt im Hof. Auch Ladestation für E-Auto verfügbar. No Go, Doppelzimmer wurde gebucht und Einzelzimmer mit Bett, breite 1,40 Meter wurde zur Verfügung gestellt für zwei Personen. War nach Information vom Hotelmanager nichts im System. Zimmer mit Klimaanlage, Bad geräumige Dusche, TV gute Größe, ich glaube so 65 Zoll. Zimmer schon laut wegen Straße. Frühstück von Mo-Freitag von 7-10 Uhr, Sonntag von 8-10 Uhr. Kaffee, Tee, Ei oder Rührei werden auf Wunsch serviert. Abendessen alles prima. Freundlicher und sehr Aufmerksamer Service. Rezeption nicht dauerhaft besetzt. Hat Flair und ist sehr ordentlich. Zimmer mit Schlüsselkarte zum öffnen.

Correct ontvangen door de gastheer. Door de late aankomst zijn we voor het diner uitgeweken naar een nabijgelegen plaats. Uitstekend tot rust gekomen op de verzorgde kamer welke voorzien zijn van zeer goede bedden. Het ontbijt was goed maar niet overdadig. Verder was er ruimte voor verzoeken waar de vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw op een prettige manier invulling aan geven.

Ich kann nur positives über dieses Hotel schreiben. Die Dusche ist sehr groß und begehbar ohne Stufe. Das Zimmer sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben die zwei Tage mit sehr gutem Frühstück genossen. Kommen gerne wieder.

Würde ohne Frühstück buchen

Frühstück kostet 15 Euro, ich habe einen Gutschein für den Bäcker bekommen (wegen Corona war das Buffet geschlossen, Personalmangel) und gedacht beim Bäcker bekomme ich ein Menü, an der Thecke wurde ich aber nur wie jeder andere Kunde versorgt, Coffee 2 go und belegte Brötchen, ich war überrascht und hab nicht auf den Wert geachtet. 6 Euro war die Rechnung, am 2. Tag gab es wieder nen Gutschein mit den Worten, ich könne das ausreizen und kaufen was ich will, aber was soll ich denn mit Backwaren im Wert von 20 Euro? Naja ich sollte 10 Euro zurück bekommen, gab's aber nie.

Schönes Hotel, nur nicht für Geschäftsreisende

Das Hotel zur Post wurde in jüngster Vergangenheit renoviert. Die Zimmer und das ganze Hotel sind sehr ansprechend, modern und funktional gestaltet, sodass man sich hier gerne aufhält. Das Hotel ist günstig in der Mitte von Riesenbeck gelegen, Restaurant, Bäcker und weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Diese positiven Rahmenbedingungen werden jedoch, zumindest während meines Aufenthaltes, durch sehr schlechten Service zunichte gemacht. 1. Frühstück ist erst ab 8:30 Uhr. Als Geschäftsreisender ein totales NoGo. Diese Information war Online nirgends ersichtlich. Auf meine Nachfrage, ob man mir nicht ein einfaches Frühstück um 7:30 Uhr zubereiten kann, wurde dies abgelehnt. Im Nachgang habe ich erfahren, dass das Hotel inhabergeführt ist und ich wohl die Unterhaltung mit dem Chef selbst hatte. Dies führt nur zu mehr Unverständnis. Zwar wurde mir zum Ersatz 2 belegte Brötchen und eine Kanne Kaffee abends um halb 10 aufs Zimmer gebracht für den nächsten Morgen, nur ist dann morgens der Kaffee kalt und an meinem zweiten Tag wurde das Vorbeibringen meines "Frühstücks" komplett vergessen. 2. Wurde in meinem Zimmer kein Zimmerservice durchgeführt. Sollte dies coronabedingt sein, so erwarte ich doch zumindest, dass ich beim Check-in darauf hingewiesen werde und mir zumindest neue Handtücher zur Verfügung gestellt werden. 3. Unprofessioneller Check-in. Lange Wartezeit an der Rezeption (ohne die Möglichkeit auf sich aufmerksam zu machen).
