"We had a long day in York out in the rain and this Hotel cheered us up no end. The suite was amazing and so comfortable and the bathroom was spectacular!! The food was so fresh and delicious and the staff very friendly and attentiveThe bar and dining area was all decorated for Christmas which was lovely and cosy. Just wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back .Thank you loved our stay and couldnt think of a negative if I tried !"

"Lovely village pub perfect location for us to visit fountains Abbey rooms were comfortable and lovely and warm its basic but thats all part of the charm of this lovely old pub breakfast was an extra £10 each but was delicious and plenty of it the landlord made sure we were well looked after and had everything we wanted.we had a few drinks in the bar and there was plenty of choice and it was nice and cosy area to catch up with friends. "We had a couple of nights stay in the New Inn and it was a lovely clean comfortable place. Great check in and access to a fridge, plates and cutlery if you need it. Chinese restaurant just a minute walk away which was really good. There was a fish and chip place too but unfortunately it was closed while we were staying. Would definitely recommend staying here though, nice safe friendly little village with a great community shop five minute walk away. "
