I recently stayed at Dash Living on Queen’s and found my experience to be underwhelming, particularly when compared to its once-glorious reputation. The hotel seems to have shifted its focus from providing quality service for hotel guests to catering more towards long-term tenants, which has negatively impacted the overall experience.
Cleanliness:
Upon entering my room, I noticed that cleanliness was below average. The bathroom had stains and accumulated dust, particularly in the toilet area, which was quite off-putting. It was clear that the rooms were not receiving the thorough cleaning they deserved, detracting significantly from the comfortable atmosphere one expects in a hotel setting.
Service:
The hotel staff, while helpful, lacked enthusiasm. There was a sense of indifference that made interactions less pleasant than they could have been. While they did respond to queries and requests, the lack of warmth made me feel more like a nuisance than a valued guest.
Location:
On a positive note, the hotel's location is a major advantage. It’s situated near numerous fantastic eateries, bustling shopping areas, and convenient transport options like the MTR and the ferry terminal. If you plan to explore Hong Kong extensively and need just a place to sleep, this could still be a viable option for you.
