This charming studio condo in the "Bamboo" is perfectly located in Waikiki, just 2 blocks to the beach, where the famous Moana Surfrider Hotel, Dukes, Hyatt Regency, and the Royal Hawaiian Hotel are located. You can watch Hula shows on the beach at night, fireworks on Fridays, and walk in either direction to a variety of restaurants, entertainment, the Zoo, the Aquarium, shopping and nightlife!

The Bamboo is an elegant 'oasis' with lots of island atmosphere and a full set of amenities, with a Heated pool, Jacuzzi, poolside waterfalls, poolside Bar and Restaurant, a Tiki hut, tiki torches, a beautiful lobby, and very friendly staff.

The unit includes: 1 Queen-size bed, 50 sq ft Lanai, Full bath, Cable TV, DVD/CD, phone, Free Wifi internet, Split A/C, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, complete kitchenette, mini refrigerator, water filter, microwave, coffee maker, hot plate in cabinet, toaster, hot water electric kettle, all utensils, towels and linens.

The unit is on the 4th floor, facing West (not the street nor the pool), and has a limited skyline view looking over the building next door (see photos).

The Bamboo is just steps to the beach (see map in Photos), where you can rent surfboards, snorkel, take catamaran rides, enjoy live music, dinner and dancing at Dukes, the beautiful Moana Surfrider Hotel, the Royal Hawaiian, and others. The location is perfect!

You will be sure to enjoy your stay while having easy access to plenty of recreation, dining, galleries, shopping, night life and things to do.

This is a non-smoking unit, and no pets are allowed.

** PARKING: Parking is available a few blocks away at the Waikiki Banyan (approx. $30/day last we checked), which is about a 10-15 min walk. You may be able to find other parking or street parking if needed.

** CANCELLATION POLICY: Our standard policy is: No refunds if canceling within 60 days of Check-in date, and a $150 fee if cancelling prior to 60 days. Note: We do NOT provide exceptions due to: road closures, flight cancellations, hurricanes, weather conditions, or air quality due to forest fires. We encourage purchasing travel insurance from a third party (for example: InsureMyTrip). Changing dates, shortening dates, or transfering the reservation to another person, requires a cancellation unless agreed to by the owner.

Great location, great place to stay!
This condo was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary and a milestone birthday in Waikiki. Kuhio beach, food, entertainment, shopping were all just steps away. Check-in was easy breezy. The condo was clean and comfortable. We were able to get some groceries so we could make breakfast a few mornings of our stay. All appliances worked and there were dishes and cutlery stocked for two. There was nothing that Mark didn’t think of - there was even nail polish remover under the bathroom sink! The Bamboo did have a day during our stay where the water was turned off between 11-2pm and we did not have hot water for a day and a half, but that was not the owner’s fault. We will definitely be booking with Mark again and will recommend this listing to our friends and family.

On first day tried to get a hold of owner about how to work the air conditioner and it took him all day to get back to me, by that time I had finally figured it out. This is also a hotel, but the front desk will literally do nothing for you besides give you your key and take it back at the end of your stay. In fact they avoid your gaze and won’t even say hello. The owner should tip them so you feel like you are in a friendly place! The bed is hard as a brick and it did contribute to some trouble sleeping. I guess you really do get what you are paying for. The pool was okay except when a people with a bunch of kids get in well, it becomes VERY SMALL. I will say that the location is VERY good. This leads me to say, in general this is a good place that with a few upgrades (like bed) and owner response rate it would be close to great for a person who doesn’t need to have a fancy room for a great vacation. It is really close to beach, and all the shopping.

Loved our stay
Our stay was wonderful. The property was located in a great spot, close to the beach, restaurants and shops; and just a short drive to hiking trails. The pool area was beautiful. The room was clean and updated, there was plenty of space for both of us for the week. It was nice to open up the balcony and get some fresh air. We had such a great time on the island and got engaged during our trip! Definitely a trip of a lifetime!

Small room, but clean, view is really no view, as you are looking directly at apt bldg units balconies that are at the most 12 feet away - so tried but didn't use balcony. Two most dissappointing things - 1. we spent 10 days there, owner did not provide a second set of sheets, said we could wash them at the coin laundry down the hall, additional expense for us. 2. I happened to check, we could have actually rented a more updated room within the Bamboo Hotel during the same 10 days we stayed there, more modern, better views and at a significant discount. Certainly learned our lesson and know how to check into more next time.

Fun and beautiful hotel, small, private, not ever crowded, so close to beach!
Owers we’re very helpful, only negative was the blanket was dirty in closet, bed needed to be softer, needs a padded mattress pad , a thicker quilt! But other than that we loved the place, make parking reservations, when booking this hotel! Enjoy! And thanks !

Great Central Location
This property is centrally located in Waikiki. Easy two blocks to the beach. Room was nice, quiet and clean. All kitchen items needed to eat in were here. Comfortable bed with blankets, if needed and laundry just steps away. Owner very responsive. We would stay here again.

Easy to find. Close to most everything. Easy checkin/out. Condo is a converted hotel room. One bed out creates a small sitting area. No view … it’s a sort of alley and the neighbors and their messy balconies are all you see. Condo was clean. Could use a little refreshing. Best for 1-2 people who don’t mind sharing a bed. Overall, it’s a good option especially if on a small budget. Compared to other places this place was cheap but could have been a little less. Mark is a good owner. Our basic needs we’re covered. I’d like to stay in a fancier place next time, but would stay here again as well.
