"The location is beautiful and scenery but the cottage itself was too small to accomodate 4 of us. No proper beds just sofa beds which were really a hassle to open and rather uncomfortable. There is no private bathroom and the toilet and showers are locared separately outside the cottage. Making this very uncomfortable and awkward if one needs to use the bathroom late at night in the cold, rain and snow. We ended up leaving and didnt make our full stay 😪 "

"We have visited Sweden many times over the last 25 years and this is still the best place we have stayed in. The refridgerator had stopped working when we arrived and the owners replaced it with a brand new one within a couple of hours. On the whole a quiet location with sometimes a bit of traffic noise from the motorway if the wind is from that direction. Great for walks along the Skåneleden that passes by the top of the lake. "Super nette Vermieter, bei Problemen wird umgehend eine Lösung gefunden, man fühlt sich willkommen und wertgeschätzt. "On our first night we were given a small room instead of a larger room which we ordered. The staff corrected the problem the following day. Our stay was during a a few days of exceptionally warm weather and the rooms are not air conditioned and no fans were provided so we were a bit uncomfortable at night. "There is some construction, the hotel is expanding into an adjacent building. But not very bothersome. The rooms can be small and minimal but I opted for a large room with fridge and micro. NOt much more expensive than a room half the size. Bathroom was excellent, no bathtub but handheld shower and once could regulate water amount and temperature separately, that is if you closed the shower you could trivially restart it with the same temperature setting. Which I appreciate very much. Within walking distance to the old parts of the university and 100 meters from a tram leading to the large new areas of the University and the neutron spallation source. They also arranged a very excellent reception/dinner I had for 25 people."

"This was our second stay at this hotel. We had a Family room and it was huge - two separate bedrooms, a big sitting area, bathroom and nice balcony. The staff are great, facilities very good (pool, gym, games etc) and breakfast is good too. Overall an excellent and well-priced hotel that I would definitely recommend. "

"Nice, spacy, convenient - right in the center close to trains, restaurants and shops. I flew from USA and came to the hotel at about 1 PM and the lady at the registration desk would not let me into the room until 3 PM - I highly doubt that there were no ready rooms earlier rooms and cleaning was finished in all of them at 3 PM. In the next hotel on Copenhagen we arrived at noon and were given the room keys right away. We also did not like the shower - too messy. Other than that it was great, including modest but pretty decent breakfast."
