"Cute hostel right in the middle of town, close to food options and the beach. Internet connection wasn’t great, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved that we could borrow shovels for the Hot Water Beach! "

"Perfect Bach for 2 people. Bed comfortable & house super clean. Good shower pressure. Lovely deck and table out front. Despite being across the road from public parking, very quiet. Appreciated the shovel to use on the beach!Only wish there was a dryer or a couple of extra towels to use. "

"Easy amble down to beach through park-like grounds and private walk way. Tidy, comfortable. However - we would have liked a microwave, quieter fridge at night and a heat pump. Felt like we were glamping, not a bad thing. Badly bitten by midges near tumble weed above high tide mark. Great fish n chips at Hotties - highly recommended. Wonderful 4 nights."

"The other reviewers have said it all about the house and location so I’d like to highlight our ‘nature’ experience all while sitting on the deck – the magnificent everchanging light, the different moods of the sea, an awesome thunderstorm, a kererū just a metre away on the railing, tūī, quail, seagulls … Thank you for the opportunity.
