"This is a nice hotel very close to everything in Adelaide. We used public transportation - very convenient. The pool is nice although difficult to find a shady place to sit. The room was very comfortable even if our view was a concrete wall. The staff are helpful and friendly. Its an 8.5/10. I deducted a half point for the old orange chairs that look like they came from the 70’s "

"Stamford Grand is in a prime location, right by the beach. The rooms are large and comfortable with great amenities. It’s a little dated with the shower over bath but otherwise fine. Parking is not free at $25 per night but the hotel is in a very convenient location close to restaurants and shopping. A good range of items is available in the buffet breakfast served daily."

"Cleaners swiped into my room at 9am for cleaning on my check out day! Very weird!"

"Room was nice and clean. There was a small kitchen and fridge. The fridge has a cupboard door which has to be opened first to get to the fridge door. This design looks nice but is not functional. Dishwasher leaked. Washing machine was easy to use but was a washer and dryer in one which was inconvenient when you want to do another load of washing. Drying function not very good. A proper dryer would be better. Location was next to the beach and close to Jetty Rd and restaurants along the pier....

"I love the location of this hotel. Its only 2 tram stops from the train station/casino. The tram is free in the city area. There are also buses running along North Terrace. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. "
